Hello,

Long time ago when I started to play World of Tanks in 2011, the russian tech tree was IS3 -> IS4 -> IS7
When IS4 was replaced by IS8, the IS8 had the statistics from IS4 and later was replaced by T10 which kept the statistics from IS8, because I never played over 350 battles with niether IS8 or T10 as it is shown in garage.
Now when I swapped AMX 13 57 GF with normal version, why the statistics were not remain for the normal version since it's the same tank now, not like IS4 vs IS8, and I have both tanks listed in vehicle list AMX 13 57 GF and non-GF ?

Thanks

It's because that's how WG handled it.

When the IS-4 moved the IS-8 took it's position in the database so it took it's stats.  It would have been better to create an "old-IS4" to take the stats and give the IS-8 a new position but they didn't.  Other moves have been done differently.

The 13-57 and GF have always had separate positions in the database so have separate stats.

So was the 13-57 sold previously or was it always sold as  the GF?  I came across a non GF a month or so back & the player wasn't very clear about how it got it.

I don't think the non-GF version has been sold before. I remember reading a while ago that some people had sold their GF version and after requesting a reinstatement from Support, they got the plain version returned instead. An even more shady memory is of some early testers getting the plain version, before the decision was made to offer it with GF branding. For example, QB's first review of the tank is from April 2015 and uses the plain version of the tank, though that was on a press account.

I got 200+ games in batchat 25t AP. I have only played a handful of games in it in real life. I played the Lorraine a lot.

But the lorraine and batchat are completely different tanks.

Life is hard.
