And now I have a few options that I would like your opinions on.

I have 3 lines ahead of me and they all have their merits. I have enjoyed the AMX LT line thus far and there is a good argument for continuing the line to get the 13 105. But what I have read, the Batchat 25T seems to be the superior vehicle.

There is also the non-autoloader medium line. I did not know much about these vehicles so your opinions on whether they might be worth investing in are welcome.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Chose the one you like most (light if you enjoy to play it) then move the crew to the next tier light and start with a new crew at bc12t for the next line...

I got the 13 90 'for free' before the 9.18 changes, and chose the bc 25ap after the bc 12t. Currently I like the bc 25ap alot more than the 13 90,  but have not unlocked the top gun on 13 90 yet...

The 6 shell magazine of the BC opens up alot of possibilities the 13 90 doesn't get, both in clip potential as in the fact you don't have to reload after 2 shells fired.

Crew training is a bit annoying because of light/med. Fortunately I had a crew available from my CDC.

I don't know about the amx 30/b line.

AMX 13 105 is a good assassin.

AMX 30B has turret armour. I've landed a pair of shots on one from a Skorpion G, both didn't pen.

B-C 25t? Can't go wrong with that either: it's still and always will be the best Tier X Light Tank. Gun's a bit temperamental, though.

I'm personally grinding the BC12t aswell, I've got the AMX 1390 and it's fantastic, not sure about the 13105 but I've heard good things about it, apart from the low ammo count...

I'm grinding towards the batchat meds, of course the tier 10 BC25t is one of the best mediums you can get, I've played it on the test server and carried my socks off, crazy good. Can't wait to get it.

The AMX30B IIRC has the highest DPM of all tier 10 meds atm, and kinda bouncy turret armor, with a big weakspot on top of it...

They're all very mobile tanks, pick your poison.

Tricky one. Since a few days I have all 3. I first went for the AMX 30, it was the tank I started grinding the line for and it's absolutely worth it. It's a great tank, fast, good gun, not the most accurate but good enough and since the buff (or nerf, depending on who you talk to) it's even got a turret that will sometimes bounce some shots.

The 1390 is a really cool light tank, but I do feel like tier 9 lights don't really have much of a place in the game. The only advantage you have over mediums is camo, but the drawbacks are huge. With the current meta and maps tier 9 lights just feel awkward at the moment. Too weak to properly fight, but in most cases the whole spotting business isn't gonna work out either. Especially when some tier 10 mediums just run around saturating the smaller maps with enough viewrange to make you completely redundant.

The BC-25t AP I just got, not in love yet. The gun is very troll and for some reason I just seem to get Ensk en Paris a lot in it. It's horrid on city maps. The long reload is ridiculously awkward on small maps and fast games. Maybe it's the difference in crew as well, but it feels like the BC-25t AP just gets spotted from the moon. The clip potential is nice, but it takes long to unload so you really really need to keep track of everything on the minimap and only commit if you find someone who's truly screwed up and isolated themselves.

Of the 3 I'm only interested in getting the tier X of the Batchat line, the 30b doesn't offer anything over the 30 prot (IMHO) to warrant going up a tier and tier 10 light tanks seem worth the credits.

Thank you all for your opinions and stuff. I might wait for the next patch on the CTE to try and get a feel for the BC25T/13 105. Do you guys think WG will "revisit" light tanks in the future? As it seems to be a community feeling that TX lights were hit rather hard by the nerf gun before they went live.

When elited all 3 tier 9 tanks are awesome , the 12t is great fun but you will be bored grinding it and want to play something different so research the 1390 last otherwise you will move on without researching everything

I took that route, the AMX 30 proto. It's a really nice tank actually with savage DPM and one of the highest standard AP shells for a medium plus it has the single fire gun so can just keep a good constant work rate going all battle long without some 3 year mag reload or having to consider "do I reload now or....". The drawbacks I found is that it isn't reliably accurate and lets me down a lot at crucial moments when I really need that shot to find its mark. Other drawback is it has 4 crew and the other 2 line options are just a straight 3 crew transfer, no fuss, no "where am I going to find the other good crew??"

I haven't played the tier9 AL options though so I can't say anything about them although the tier6, 7 and 8 were very similar in playstyle so I'd be surprised if there was anything radically different at tier9 and 10
