Hi

I was wondering If WN8 and XVM in general died out from this game or what?!

In the past you saw a lot of XVM and WN8 threads and all the major streamers used it. You wont see this anymore that often.

How do you now determine a players value?

Taking some time to look at one's overall winrate, winrate in their high tier tanks and what their most played tanks are is a far better evaluation than WN8 has/will ever be.

No, It's you RR(RushRating) that only matters now.

It's mostly a teenage thing, judging from the in game comments that are based on it. And of course QB's modpack business doesn't help.

Well, despite all the nay-saying, I still use WN8 to gauge my performance.  I find it useful to determine initial tactics in a game too,

Yep RushRating took over wn8 in just a night.

On a more serious note. No I dont know any good players caring for WN8 any more. Its all about your tier 10 tank performance, and for that you dont need some ranking which can be padded and abused.

Wait, what happened to the Sleipnir Rating?

One of the problems with it nowadays is the increasingly vast number of rerolls. When every other seasoned player is starting again, to apply their expertise from day 1, it skews the numbers for everyone. If it only showed performance for the last few months, that might be more credible.

You must mean Sleipnir move, which is when you hit enemies when performing cover wrap.

In case you wonder what that means: "Like Odin horseback throws hes spear  into Nidhoggr masters and other worms to protect Yggdrasil(right conception of gameplay without gold and extra rations abuse)."

Sleipnir skill is included as part of Respect/Rush/Raubritter/Righteousness Rating. I'm currently busy padding my own RRTM by getting Kamikaze medals, though I expect changes to take this flaw into account soon.

Yeah, Rush Rating is the crap now. Just think about all those Sleipnir moves....

I bet the guys that YOLO farm stamps for Intel event in tier 2 get a very good RR.

Yeah, watching this makes me basically go like this:

Spoiler

Oh. Meant this one, though the above is funny enough to warrant staying:

(This is undeniably on-topic, Rush Rating is the only current contender to the more common rating systems. The above replay is attached merely to showcase what gameplay said rating system is seeking to reward, and not to name and shame.)

If it doesn't measure how much fun you are having then it isn't much use.

For me, generally speaking winning = fun, so winrate = the amount of fun I'm having in relation to how much fun I'm not having. Generally speaking, of course.

Yes, wn8 is dead but all top clans are still recruiting high WN8 players (mostly tier X). Nobody cares about winrate.

It is old video, RR is more improved atm kamikaze has less affection and more sticked to victories. Its just anti free exploration, module grind indicator.

Unfortunately not caring about winrate is on official level. WG have to admit their comfort monetization sistem and profit racing turned wot community into braindead point clickers without tricks and strategy interests.
