Hi guys.

I have estimated my RR to be somewhere between 9 and 10. I wish to improve this, How could I accomplish that without using cheats, I don't want to be a cheater with 13+ RR.

Could someone also explain to me what is exactly a sleipner move?

Thx.

Based on the  posts to date....

Drop some LSD and listen to thrash metal by the looks of things.

On a more serious note, got to hand it to the RR inventor.

He has put thought into the rating system.  It penalises for platoons for example to try and find underlying skill levels.

Way too dependent on win rate though IMO.  Putting Quickybaby's stats in the sheet reveals he is classed as OK only.

If you do 48k games with a win rate of 58% you are lame apparently.  Tad harsh if you ask me.

EDIT: A classic thread on the subject of sleipner and the forum at its best for sarcasm http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/612450-so-how-many-times-per-day-u-perform-sleipnir-move/#topmost

Mr. RR has his own Youtube channel, and I totally recommend watching it to gain more insight.

Most of it seems to be Russian/Ukrainian Pagan black metal. Probably on cassette.

Not too familiar with the genre (made some parody music over ten years ago), sadly. I'd link to some of the stuff I know, but it's hard to find one on Encyclopedia Metallum that isn't described with right-wing nationalism in 'lyrical themes'.

Still, there's something strangely enthralling about black metal with extended use of flutes.

Edit: I do actually agree it has some merit. Personally I have issues with how I've padded my Rush Rating a lot - by going for kamikaze medals. Doesn't really make sense.

Cuckoo, is my definition of this 23rd century play style correct or do I need more drugs?

Sleipner play:

"can be defined as a fluid play style where the tank is more or less in continuous motion across the map during the battle and particularly focuses on firing on the move.

Camping and static play where the tank holds a location is not Sleipner, pausing momentarily to aim is."

I actually did this. Not kidding or trolling, I legit played WoT on Edited with Master of Puppets playing.

I did not do well.

IIRC I just rushed my heavy tank to the frontline and never stopped pushing forward (sometimes literally blitzing past the enemy tanks and still going forward while shooting them in the butt), also my aim was a bit off. And by "a bit off" I mean I even had trouble getting autoaim to lock.

Does that count as a high RR? :P

Is this an euphemism for something dirty?

Jokes aside (it does make sense to hold my Fenrir), could you provide some insight as to why the 'Kamikaze' medal is part of RR?

Nothing wrong with holding a position if you are actively preventing the enemy from taking it and gaming an advantage over you.

Aim at drivewheel and fire, then sleipnir move and release of fenrir. Next, cover wraps in garlic sauce while dong a chat speedrun, HUD down, and increase lumberjack stat by at least one.

Not even the guy that come with that RR can do all these things in one game. :teethhappy:

With Odin distracted dealing with Fenrir, the ice giants stat will skyrocket, and we all know what that means. Don't say there was no warning later.
