Finally, a decent (hopefully) modern version of one of my all-time favourite games is coming to Steam on 12th June.

Truly, this is a great day - tanks may have to take a back seat for a while.

Me so happy :)

Best bomberman for me is the one for gameboy, don't remember its name anymore but it was essentially bomberman vs wario, if you played as wario the final boss was a big bomberman and the other way around. Remember having so much fun with that one :)

oh my ... them feels ... remember placing a bomb and accidentally trapping yourself? Fun times... fun times... :D

Edit: why do I have a feeling this will bomb? (pun intended). Looks like one of those "let's take a classic and make it 3D ... surely it will work"/

I trapped myself on many occasions and you're right, those were fun times :D

It certainly looks good, I just hope the devs do it justice.

Don't think I ever played it on Gameboy - iirc, my introduction was on the SNES.

Ahh, the SNES and ClayFighters - those were the days..........:)

Vague memory of playing as a snowman but i wouldn't bet on it. Kinda just skimmed through all non story based games on my SNES libraby playthrough, mainly because i really like stories and plot :p That being said it's a vague memory at least, and it was a loong time ago. SNES favs are Earthbound, Terranigma, Crono trigger and Super Bonk xD

Still got my N64 somewhere - to this day I haven't found a better shooter than Goldeneye &/or Perfect Dark.

Yeh, 39,99€ for a game you can essentially play for free on your browser is a tad overkill IMO.. I mean the game might be nostalgic, but not 39,99€ nostalgic for many.

Same here! Getting the cheat codes activated for Golden Eye was something else... speedrun on facility, anyone?
Me and my pal played that to bits... especially multiplayer with proximity mines was a laugh!
And then there was the Ocarina of Time...

Thing is for me I just cba to play these anymore, because no matter how awesome my memories are of these games - they just pale in comparison to my steam library.|

EDIT: Now don't get me started on that Atari 130XE I got for my bday in 1987 :p

That's thing thing isn't it I suppose?

We always look back with rose-tinted glasses and things were never quite as good as we remember.

Having said that, I still play a lot of Star Wars Supremacy/Rebellion just because the gameplay is still so very good after all these years.
