French arty is my current go-to when I'm having a rubbish run. I go through love/hate cycles with just about every other tank in my garage. I really wish I could find a line which I could jump into and know it's the one. For a while I thought it could be Chinese lights but I'm not good at high-tier pseudo-medium gameplay, I'm too used to the lower tier scout first, shoot later that I learned playing French lights.

I thought the BatChat might change things but I've simply no idea how to play it despite racking up plenty of battles in the lights and BabyBat. I've only played 6 battles so far but have a win rate of 0% and I don't think I've loaded a second clip in most of them.

My average tier is 5-6 and I can usually hold my end up regardless of what I'm playing. Breaking out of that comfort zone is proving to be harder than I thought. Practice, practice, practice. It's fine to learn things in lower tiers but there's really no substitute for higher tiers except to play them.

OMG so OP, seal clubber, WG pls nerf !!!1!!eleven!! :izmena:

I had a cracking game in the Excelsior tonight (replay). More mid-tier nonsense but I realised that if I spend tomorrow getting the first skill on this crew, I can put them in the FV215b and I'll have two tier 10 heavies to play for the Progetto marathon. Probably won't make much of a difference to how I get on but I might as well start my tier 10 crusade when every other high-tier noob is doing the same. :D

Yeah.  And in good Dinger fashion.  It has a full premium loadout.

But it's been a slog.  Started with a 30% WR in it.   But now I have a good idea how to play it.

I'm staying at tier 7 for the foreseeable future.

I probably should too but I suspect I'll be hidden in the crowd of noobs playing tier 10s for the marathon so it's the perfect time for me to step up and pull on my big boy trousers.

There is some chance that due to the same logic the quality of lower-tier players will jump higher a bit for the next 2 weeks.

Leopard PTA.

You can't go wrong with the PTA. Best tier 9 medium/scout.

I am the living proof that you can go wrong with PTA.... at least I always did manage to die fast and useless with it.

Yes, but you still can't go wrong with the PTA because you helped me get my 3 marks on that tank. Thank you!

I used to go to the Borsig and the T26e4 prior to the current MM for a rest and fun, the one was a ninja sniper and the other was a ridgeline in your face brawler, so nice contrast.  Now these 2 don't work that well in the current MM and I have not played them in months.  currently I have:

-Marder 38T- have nearly 3 k games in this little monster and it remains fun, especially in tier 5 and 6 games where most players totally underestimate what this little tank can actually do

-Stug 111G-got a full female crew from the Christmas event in it and finally learning what a gem this vehicle is-high speed counter rotate really trolls lights who think they can circle it to death

-Jp2 -  probably the best tier 8 TD -drop a 4 skill crew in it and that gun will cause havoc to basically anything it can meet and it will bounce a lot of shells if angled properly at the right moment-its armour has been more successful for me than my T26e5!

Not really a comfort tank of sorts, but the Chi-Ri usually brings a smile to my face with it's 3 shell autoloader. I might keep it actually.

When nothing else works and you just want to have some fun, KV-2 and KV-5!

Or just take a ride in the CGC and laugh when you get Himmelsdorf and get the shots over buildings. The only arty that can do it.

IS-3 and Conqueror. After a bad run with situational tanks, bad grinds or derpy guns these tanks always deliver. Good guns, always something to do. No nasty surprises.
