I only feel comfortable when playing tanks that don't work well - either stock tanks or tanks that fail to work for me or tanks that are just plain bad. Then my expectation is zero and anything above that is a bonus, so there is no pressure. On the other hand, I tend to gradually stop playing tanks that have grown into me - the prospect of having a crap game in a tank that I actually like somehow feels so terrifying that I usually choose something else instead.

T-34-3 for the memes. 390 alpha on a medium against Tier 6's is quite a joke, but then against so is 175 pen against an Obj. 257...

FV4202 for just looking amazing. Can't hit the broad side of a barn, but it just feels nice to drive around in. Not having to worry about AP penetration is nice.

Super Conqueror for the DPM shenanigans

Matilda if I'm feeling mean. Absolutely shreds everything.

Excelsior. 2k+ DPM on a Tier 5 heavy tank is fun.

Usually in that order.

Mostly light tanks of tier 7 up to tier 9. Like the AMX 13 105 as well but T10 light tanks are basically gimped mediums.

Some medium tanks, mostly paper ones with or without autoloaders.

KV-4 to do heavy tank missions.

E-25, Skorpion, Charioteer and T110E4 for TD missions.

I need to grind some free xp. I've tried it stock and been horribly disappointed. Not a reflection on the tank, more a comment on my inability to play higher tiers. :(

It's just not an easy tank to play, having absolutely no armour and still being a fairly easy target to hit.

I literally took 800 damage from a BC 155 55 in mine yesterday at the very start of a game, forcing me to be super conservative with plays for the rest of it.

The big gun is definitely much better offensively, but it's still a very punishing tank to play.

Should be perfect for me, I have over 250 battles in the CDC.

* looks at CDC's 40% win rate *

Oh, right.

Used to be pkfw b1 but since a losing streak of seven games in a row it's basically all light tanks.

T-34 for me! Still crap in it, but it makes a lovely comforting sound when the ammo rack blows!

Wish wg would fix the commander's comment though, so he says " We lost some ammo, but it didn't explode .... oh wait!"  :)

Cromwell is the most played tank for me , almost at 4th skill now.
But I made a mistake by not click the little box to use all xp for crew ...it has got 171k useless xp on it at the moment.
I like the speed from it , circle slow lumbering tank with it is so much fun.
It has a decent viewrange and camo.

Also the T-43 is a new favorite , that gun is so fast firing and accurate on the move.
Even auto aiming works quite well.

Both of those tanks are very usefull , you have enough speed to run away when needed and also enough speed to help other flanks when needed.

The kv1 was a favorite but I dont play it much anymore , just like the t150.
Both are quite easy to play tanks.
Also even though I dont have high winrate in my IS6 I play it on regular base , just because it has pref mm.
Low tier t28 , luchs , t34 are the most fun to play for me.
I really dislike tanks with no moving turret so Ive never ever did play those tanks a lot.
The only one that felt very decent was the stug III , that gun is just great.

Recently I like the hellcat and t25/2 also.
Also Im almost at the LTTB (12k xp left to get on ltg), I think it will be a very fun nice tank to play.

With the amount of free crew members WG has been handing out, I doubt many people won't have 6th sense over tier 5.:teethhappy:

STRV S1. I accept that it is team dependent, and as long as I keep an eye on the minimap and move early as required, I can for the most part just kemp bush. If the game stays on tilt, I quit.

Same here.

It have it's drawbacks but I do not have issue with siege mode and unlike most of T8 tanks it does not suffer that much due to MM as with 288 standard pen it can penetrate T10 tanks without problem.

Due to very high penetration it earn nice credits (no need for premium ammo spam).

When I feel I just want to play and relax (don't feel like grinding some line etc.) I go for STRV S1.

Hmmm, some "statpadders" here:

- Panzer B2

- PIIJ

- Cruiser II

- Cromwell B

- T-54 First Prototype

- T-54

- T34-3

- Centurion 7/1 :hiding:

- IS2B

I'm sure there are others. I mainly enjoy the P2J because it enrages enemy P1C's with the reverse-statpadding. Yes, I know the Cent 7/1 ain't supposed to be great, but it works for me.

None. I'd rather go with Jocmeister's suggestion.
