Temporary and T8 only? I was looking forward to a nice endgame mode for solo/platoons. I'll try it out, but as of now I'm quite dissappointed.

What about a permanent mode, with few more maps and availabe for the tiers 8 to 10 like the old domination ? It will be way better.

As someone who has played the tier 8 and tier 10 versions. I prefer the tier 10 version. This is due to the better balancing of tanks.

 

Also, the gameplay seems to be very rush to the cap and have a brawl. This is not too fun and I think there should be an opportunity to flank. Maybe 3 caps per zone? 

 

Also, I think the caps have a bit too much cover. It makes it too hard ( in my opinon) for the defending team to actually reset the cap

eh, tier X is NOT balanced better then tier VIII, heck it's probably the worst balanced tier of any of the mid-high tiers. It literally has tanks that should be in tiers IX-XII stuffed in there.

The game mode is fun, and I really like that it's tier VIII. However there are 2 major issues I have with it. First, the time limit is too short. I've played a couple of matches so far, all have ended in a win for the defenders simply because the attackers didn't have enough time to actually destroy the pillboxes. Also, killing one of the pillboxes should REALLY give the attacking team more time. the second issue I have is that you loose money, and A LOT. The gamemode was originally moved down to tier VIII because people lost too much credits in tier X matches, however, this is still very bad. During the first match I took the Charioteer and the Cent I for a spin. Played most of the game as the Char, did 7.8k dmg and around 2.4k assist. While I was running prem consumables (I didn't spam gold because the APCR is generally better then the HESH) even when I removed the cost of those (60k credits) I still lost like 37k credits. This was with a fairly high damage count. You really need to fix that because otherwise there simply won't be an incentive to play this gamemode. If I want to loose ridiculous amounts of credits I would play tier X. This gamemode REALLY should be a thing to earn credits even with standard tanks.

The frame rate is terrible in this mode! I usually get a constant 60 fps, but in this mode I get 30-40.

 

I have played the battle royal mode and the previous attack/defense mode on the Sandbox server and this has never happened.

 

With that out of the way, this is a pretty fun mode to play, and you get a healthy income playing it, I would definitely play this mode if it ever becomes available.

Im not sure this mode is ready to be released yet.

 

1) Compared to what I have seen on QBs stream and other youtube videos games seem to be alot faster then they were and in my opinion this makes this mode feel quite like a less dense grand battle with respawns. And thats not as interesting as it seemed to be

 

2) Unless you make more maps before you release this mode it will go down the same path as grand battles did ragardless of the frequency

 

3) You need to fix the economics. This was the biggest reason why rampage failed and also the biggest problem in the sandbox version. Moving it down a tier does not help. I think if you slightly reduce the repair and amo cost for this mode it should be fine or alternatively some kind of algorithm that would be based on K/D ratio or dmg done/recieved would be good as well

 

Trust me you need to fix those points otherwise this is gonna be another dead gamemode

I like the gamemode but I think tier 10 is much more fun than tier 8. The goal in wot is to grind to tier 10 so why cant I use it in this mode?

Please permanent, 3pm to 11pm Daily and 1pm to 11pm on weekends. :playing:

 

Farming credits is very easy with premium vehicles and AP only. Who shoots expensive ammunition will be punished. The game is well balanced, but please take out "overtime", this trolls.

Here it says " 30 players on each side with an opportunity to team up in Platoons of five." But you cant invite players to play with five...only 3...

Fix this...

Fix some stuff and please keep it there. DO NOT REMOVE! Variety of game modes will make this game great again. We have custom game mods in WT so why do not make something variable in world of tanks too. When you will get tired with pubbies you will be able to join with 4 of your friends and have such a great fun. And I think new gamemodes will actually make old players look back again. For example NA is almost empty ..

This one needs to be permanent. BUT !  

 Economy is bad, right now its a credit hole.

 Please remove the arty from this mode at least, we have enough headaches on normal gamemode.

 Some issues with fps, but i put this one on the size of the map.

 Imagine how fast a platoon of 5 purple unicums can destroy this mode . FAST . 3 players platoon is enough.

 Need more time. At least 5 minutes more per round. Not enough time to even reach the middle sometimes.

 

 Its fun. Its fast. Its for mediums and autoloaders.  But remember how rampage failed because of credit holes and learn from that.

Honestly the most fun I have had playing world of tanks. Not sure why this shouldn't be permanent. It would help the current tier 8 mm situation and provide some variation to the game. This is the best game mode you have made over the years, please keep it going!

 

The matches do feel a bit short though and I think 5 man platoons are overkill.

Interesting to play, although I've had FPS issues. I hope the event will not be a one-time thing, and I'd like to see it come back every now and then.

The few times I did play, I felt that the A base was rather hard to capture though.

I have played both t8 and t10 and enjoy the game immensely.  I feel it is on the scale that tanks are meant to be played!  I like the t8 better as I feel it is more accessible and not just restricted to top players with lots of gold or a premium account due to the costs of tank damage .  Maybe reducing the cover in some of the caps would help or multiple caps could be tried as ( anecdotally) it seems as though the advantage is with the attackers.

 

Overall fantastic job devs and look forward to seeing it on the main server soon!

top of your scrern, where normally 'random battles' stands. Click to change. I don't think its available always

I quite like it, interesting game mode. I'm not sure about the balance though, it seems well armoured heavies are very effective on defence side.

Also, just going for your own damage farming seems more profitable than playing for the win. All in all a nice way to grind tier 8 tanks. I've given up advancing lines past tier 7 in the randoms because of tier 8 MM.

And remove arty from this game mode! It's waaayyyu to easy to farm damage from the back > a lot will play arty > arty will ruin the game mode.
