It is true, KV-5 is just a bad joke now. But at least WG confirmed that they are working on a solution and the first tank to be reworked will be the KV-5. 

IS-6 at least has good (trollish) armour while almost any tank can pen KV-5 on the turret and obvious huge weak spots (infamous R2-D2). JT 8,8 has a good gun and good RoF. Kanonen is garbage indeed. KV-5 and Kanonen are the worst premium tanks at the moment, at least in my opinion.

 

For the update: Every new tanks are welcomed, so I think it will be interesting to see the Italians (even though I'm not planning to grind them). I hope that this year they will introduce also Hungarian tanks after the Polish and of course with a full tech tree.

 

The most important is to have good maps back in the game. I'm not talking about Province, but Dragon Ridge and Pearl River for example. Or just introduce completely new ones. Most of the maps have still the same problems, some of them are even worse now - I'm looking at you, Erlenberg - So I think the HD rework didn't go perfectly. I still trust in WG, because the game is still enjoyable and I still have a lot of goals in the game, but of course WG also should have a lot of stuff to implement - rebalancing, maps, MM, new nations, premium ammo, etc.

We need the private chat issues fixed too. Messages randomly disappear and others don't receive them.

OK this very god, but tell me what be with KV5. You said that after 1.0 update, reset the problem with KV5. And I see no mention of anything about KV5 anywhere.

Hi!

I'am sure that the italian tree will be perfect.

But please, could you before and first and foremost ?
- correct bugS
- balance tanks
- improve the match making
- solve the gold amunition spamming issue
- suppress the XVM players ranking
- add the usefull mods in the interface

Hey WG these Italian tanks they are good, but could you please buff them a bit, as the time between shots is too long 2.75 on the Progetto 65... maybe bring it down to 2 seconds to make it more competitive. 

I was wondering why the Prototipo Standard B (tier 9) is worst than the tier 8 & worst than the tier 10....yes it has better penetration and damage over the tier 8...but the gun stats such as aiming, Gun dispersion are very bad really not an upgrade over the tier 8. All in all you should make them a little bit better in terms of reload between shots, aiming time, dispersion and a bit more armour. ;) I love the Italian voices and expressions as I am Italian and I understand everything! ;)

How about wg you fix those unpolished corners that eat all my shells and hit sounds that dont work and maybe reworks all maps once again cuz they sucks after 1.0

I am going to check it out since sandbox is offline and on classic WOT it's not worth grinding like a nolifer just because i don't have tier X for the progetto...

Can't w8 for the download to finish

Premium ammo is needed by some tanks and pretty much required for others, so by all means moan about it but its needed.

 

It doesn't make armour irrelevant any more than armour makes standard ammo irrelevant.

There are situations where a tanker has a choice use premium ammo or be unable to fight the tank that is in front of them.

Sure you could try to flank but not always it depends on the mobility of both tanks the map and time available.

Of course while you are maneuvering to get into a better position he can fire at you and may be able to pen every shot.

 

I want the game to have many ammo choices I don't care if its called gold premium or magic ammo but I do want to see more than just AP and HE.

The whole point is that players should have a choice as to how much of each type of ammo to take and that each type should have advantages and disadvantages.

We have some of that now but maybe it needs tweaking what we do not need is premium ammo being removed from the game and sadly you cannot realistically limit how many rounds a player takes because every tanks need for premium is different.

 

Price doesn't really matter either, its already 4 or 5 times more expensive than standard yet players continue to use it.

Players want results in the games they play and if premium ammo increases their chance of damage and kills they will take it even if they lose credits on the game.

Every mission and event is a reason to carry more premium ammo.

I am more happy to hear about new game mode (which seems like a lot of fun) and FINALLY the plans to remove premium ammo for credits than about Italian tanks. Not that Italian tanks don't look interesting, they actually do.

 

I think WG will introduce some new type of ammo which will be more balanced soon. Anyway the direction of changes seems to be good.

Changes to the Frontline mode

 

Progress in the mode: 

There are 30 Tiers available in the mode

  • Players progress by fighting battles in the Frontline mode.
  • At the end of each battle, players receive Fame points.
  • The number of points depends on the rank earned in the battle:
  1. Private: all player start battle with this rank.
  2. Sergeant: +150 Fame points
  3. Lieutenant: +250 Fame points
  4. Captain: +600 Fame points
  5. Major: +900 Fame points
  6. General: +1,200 Fame points
  • Upon achieving a new Tier, players will receive rewards and Supply points.

 

Prestige option

  1. Once the maximum Tier is achieved, players will be able to reset the progress.
  2. The Prestige option will be available three times: the maximum Tier can be reset three times.
  3. Players will earn a unique reward for each reset.
  4. The Prestige also resets the Combat Reserve levels.
  5. After each progress reset, the Tier rewards will be available again.

 

Changes to the technical characteristics of the following Italian vehicles:

 

P.44 Pantera (Tier VIII)

  • Changed dispersion of the Cannone da 90/53 gun for the P.44 Pantera prima variante turret from 0.36 m to 0.35 m
  • Changed dispersion of the Cannone da 90/74 gun for the P.44 Pantera prima variante turret from 0.36 m to 0.35 m
  • Changed dispersion of the Cannone da 90/53 gun for the P.44 Pantera seconda variante turret from 0.35 m to 0.34 m
  • Changed dispersion of the Cannone da 90/74 gun for the P.44 Pantera seconda variante turret from 0.34 m to 0.33 m

  • Changed aiming time from 2.3 s to 2.1 s
  • Decreased the reload time within the clip from 2.75 s to 2.5 s

I opened the test server just now... yesterday was working, today it wasn't table to reach the servers... are they down or is a problem that i'm the only one having?

 

PS: sorry for my english, i hope you can undersatnd, i'm italian and still learning it

PPS: i am so happy of this new tech tree... but i think that when it goes live i'll stop at the Pantera, is way better tier for tier then the IX or X

Yeah the servers are down at the moment. They should be back up later today (try again in the evening).
