Note: The battle result screenshot shows my account with 1 day premium acc activated, but pay attention to the non premium reward section on the battle result. Look how much credit i lose every game without a premium account.
I am not blowing my credits on premium stuff, you have the evidence presented before you and you can make the calculations for yourself to confirm my validity.

So I've provided screenshot with my statistics and another screenshot showing couple of battle result examples.

  • You see my in-game performance, I'm not doing bad by any means.
  • You have the battle result screenshot to confirm for yourself that I'm not using gold ammo.
  • My consumables are standard with the exception of fire extinguisher, which i have around 93 in stock that i bought on a sale long ago.

So nothing premium is being used that eats my credits, nothing gold is being used that eats my credits, yet I'm bleeding credits. It's obvious as to why I'm bleeding credits when you look at the battle result reward section. It's the repair cost + standard ammunition restock.

In 35 games I've lost -92,037 credits. That's insanity. That's not sustainable.

You can look up my Wn8 by all means - EU TheBrokeNZ
Total Wn8: 1864

Recent Wn8: 2023
Battles Played: 17k

Am i the only one bleeding credits to this degree? Why can't i sustain myself credit-wise on a tier IX and X game? Why am i receiving so little credit based on my performance? What more does the game expect of me to do before i for once in my life can gain a surplus instead of a deficit? Is it just me that's suffering like this?

You played almost 20k matches. You should know how the economy works.

Hint: All those matches are defeats.

it has always been like that, but if you have some credit boosters, you can grind credits with tier 9s, rather than playing tier 8 prems.

This is why we play lower tiers to generate credits. Or get prem tanks, to earn credits. T9 & TX are not tiers for profit. Some tanks on T9 & TX can break even, if you play them well, but they're more an exception then the rule.

I literally posted screenshots of victories and statistics showing the overall score. Where did you get your hint from?

I know it's always been like this, at least for me. But recently WoT fanboys has been shitting all over me saying it's only a problem i face because I'm a crapplayer who can't play WoT. Hence the forum post to verify the actual truth, because i genuinely started questioning myself. Turns out you guys verified it's not only a me problem, but everyone problem.

I am starting to question the lifespan of this game when you can't play a single round of tier IX and X without bleeding financially. The end-game content. When i reach zero credits i will be quitting then. Can't be arsed to continue after that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Your account is created five years a go. When did you started to play?

17059. Let's see how long it will take for OP to run out of credits and quit the game.

Take a moment to consider what might happen to the mid tiers if the high tiers were really end game content with no required upkeep.

What it expects of you is to do one or more of these:

Buy premium account time;

Buy high tier premium vehicle and play that to earn credits to fund your high tier battles;
Play mid tier profitable battles to fund your high tier battles; or

Play very, very well at high tier

And with he exception of the last, very rare, option, which allows a small few to carry on without, that is how this game runs.

I got it from a phone screen that was zoomed in too much. My mistake, sorry.

But still - that's how the economy works.

Yeah well top tier crediting system is non-sense.. Bleeding credits after almost every battle.
I have a non premium account usually don't spam gold, and AP shells sometimes (for some RNG reason)... fail to penetrate the weaker armor and we end up like in this battle.

No HEAT used,  standard account, pulled my team as much as i could, we won, was even the top exp earned annnnd.. Have a look.

the game economy is built around you losing credits at tier 8 and up. Hence why a premuim account and a credit maker become neccessary around that time.

As said above , try to buy tanks only on discounts , same for equipment and consumables , stockpile on those so the bill gets smaller every battle. but dont expect to be turning a profit in high tier battles

I only have one tier IX so far and realised early on that the high tiers are luxury :B . A few lower tier gold tank battles or non-gold battles will fund the boom boom of the higher tiers :playing:. GOLD IS GOD THOUGH....

An average loss of 2,630 credits per battle. Do you have any idea how many players would love to lose so little?

High tiers aren't supposed to be sustainable. The concern if they were is no one would play lower tiers. It's always been this way and speaking for myself, I'm fine with it. Yes, I have a premium account but even if I didn't, mid-tiers can be some of the most entertaining battles and you have to be a complete potato not to make credits.

Playing tier X for the marathon and I've been surprised at how static many of the battles are. I've been told several times that repair and ammo costs are too high to rush in. I stuck on a +50% credit booster earlier (one received for free from missions) and played tier 8 prems exclusively, earning 1.35m credits net profit in two hours. With what I already had banked, that allowed me to buy a tier 9 tank and play as much tier 9 and 10 as I wanted.

Odd. Object 430 been like the only tier 8+ tank I've been sort of almost able to sustain without a premium account. I do get losses, but those I have tried to cover by playing a few battles with premium tanks.

i grinded through old line, when 430 was tier 10 ;) obj 416 and 430v2 are very expensive tanks to run

This is the origin of the phrase "working as intended".

By forcing free to play players to finance their high tiers by playing tier 6 they keep the game going for new players coming through the ranks.

You think you deserve a goodincome for doing 3k damage and dying in a tier X game?

The pointof tier IX and X is that it's harder to make credits. Everything is more expensive so that the lower tiers stay populated.

It's Wargamings way of making sure that it is possible to still play WoT without a premium account to it's fullest, and it works.
