Hello folks.

I had a terrible weekend, I fell on a losing streak that I did not manage to recover from. And that persistance into "I'll get over it" actually spiraled me downwards into more bad games where maybe I could have done more if I would have had a clearer and rested mind. Not to mention how cranky and bad my temper got.

A perfect example was a game last night in the T-100 LT ( yes, I was dumb enough to finish my tott grind during this weekend against superheavy infested tier 10 MM ) ... where I was actually doing pretty well with some 3k dmg and 7k assist ... defending on Erlenberg ... playing it almost perfectly ... till the end ... when I took too long to realise my only hope to win was by time ... and got shot in the last second ( yes, exactly the last second, on the buzzer :) ... what a bot I was ... ). My reactions were so slow that I basically threw the game with that last move.

Bottom line, don't be an idiot like me. When on a losing streak just go do something else and come back only after your mind is clear. And rested.

Hope this helps some of you who are usually just as stubborn as I am.

:honoring:

Several missions, recent patch and an X5 weekend to boot - recipe for disaster :)

You mus be very unlucky to get all the bad players on you team, with the only good players on opposing team.

Did I say that?

hmm?

[edit] I've had the usual mix of good games and ones where I completely lose the plot and brain fart my way back to garage - the only good thing about the Progretto mission is you can't just yolo like the laptop grind one

Oh, so you were winning every game? Then not unlucky, but very lucky

Didn't say that either :)

Your comprehension is frankly abysmal - either that or you're desperate to troll someone, either way I'll pop you on ignore just to be on the safe side :)

For every game lost, someone won. Weekend teams have lower quality players in them, we all know that.

What I was implying was that I was partly to blame for my losses. As I should have stopped the moment it was obvious I was entering battles with frustration ... and the game should be fun. Not played in spite.

A good break does wonders most of the times.

P.S. met a few forumites this weekend in randoms, at least that was fun. Even when they killed me. :)

I lost a game even with the Unicum on my side in a game XVM would have screamed WIN at in the days when it displayed winchance.

Must be rigged

I did this last night too and although Im not very good normally, yesterday was truly atrocious! The moment I realised it was time to quit was in the village at Fjords when I got spooked by an unexpected spotting warning, twitched and drove my tank off a ledge and ungracefully flipped it completely upside down

Did that yesterday...."Oh I've had 2 good games and 3 bad games, it can't be that hard to have 1 more decent game right?"  3 games later and I quit :teethhappy:

I would argue that every flip is graceful
