Seems to be a real increase in players who are just putting advertisements into the game, they haven't played a game just want you to purchase from them in personal messages.... Wonder if WOT can filter?

Filter how? They are all just on tier 1. They get banned rater fast if the PM ppl that report then, or idle bot bans from spamming it in tier 1 games chat as they don't do anything. Then they make a new account and start again. And I suspect IP bans are not much of a concern for them either.

Only way to filter them out is to lock PM and chat until they get to tier 3 with xx amount of battles played etc. Since they never play. And that's not ideal either if you want to keep new players around.

Just make it so that you need 100-250 battles, no new player is gonna use the private chat anyways. New players would prob prefer that over getting advertisements when they just start the game.

Or a simple chat filter that autobans those accounts after the first message. That's a basic standard in most other games.

If you don't like Spam try Ulster Fry - never seen it outside of Liverpool though. And before I get condemned  I am NOT a bin-dipper, just a poor Mancunian who had to work there for 4 years.

Simply stop accounts with fewer than 100 battles from PM-ing anyone.  Good one.

I can't agree. This "luncheon meat" has all the consistency of cat food, and none of the flavour.

You cannot report them in garage chat, I mean, you can open a ticket but is rather long and boring process.

I suppose that they fish for tomatoes with free stuff and steal accounts as few had couple of thousands battles and bright red stats.

IP ban solves nothing and victims can get banned instead of recovering their accounts, so might be a bigger issue than it looks at first.

I play a bit of cricket in summer. Remember going on one particularly arduous trip to the wilds, only to find that the opposition captain had fallen out with his wife, leaving him with the sandwich making duties. We got plain bread, with a choice of jam or spam fillings. No cake. No slices of pizza. No crisps, nor token melon chunks. Just the leftover pig scrapings, squelched together in a tin can. Have never recovered from the disappointment.

I haven't googled this, is it something to do with Pork And Ham? Some Pork And Ham (and those white gristley bits)?

Calling them players is a bit too much honour, tbh.

This Anti-Spamist behaviour has gone on long enough. I am begging a Mod, for the sake of humanity, to lock this thread before a generation of future Spam eaters have their minds corrupted.

"On the 7th day, God kicked back and relaxed whilst gazing at the wonders he had created and promptly celebrated with a Spam sandwich and a nice cup of tea, then activated his personal reserves".

I think they're busy pointing and laughing at the Bring Back Downvotes thread.
