If you look at the Progetto bundle you'll notice that the bundle is exactly the tank plus the sum of all the stage rewards.

If I complete 9 stages and buy the bundle for 6 euro, will I still get ALL of the extra stuff, essentially getting the stage rewards twice? That would be an epic deal and better than completing all the stages.

Oh crap, nevermind, I noticed the bundle decreases as you complete stages..  Forget this thread.

Now an interesting question on the subject might be, how long after the current event does the offer and discount remain? Or will both disappear right at the end of the event?

It was said somewhere that the offer would remain available for a few days (not specified) after the marathon ends. But just to be sure, if you want to buy it, do it before the last day of the marathon ends (i.e when you finish you last game of the day). You should already know if you want to buy it or not, so why wait days / weeks until after the marathon ends...?

I can like reach max stage V, realistically speaking. So what I what also want to know if I can buy just the tank at a discount, or is it just the bundle that is available.

Tank is only available as bundle for now. Nominal price of the tank would be around 40-42 Euro (based on its 11k gold price). At 50% discount the bundle would cost you around 29 Euro, so it's still a 25-30% discount for the tank alone if you ignore all the other stuff.

Or see it this way: The first three stages which are very easy are basically for the goodies, the actual tank discount comes from the other seven (time-consuming) stages.

What I see as somewhat disturbing is the fact that the original value price of the bundle (from which the final price is calculated after discounts) does not decrease as you progress with the missions. Afterall, the bundle you are buying is getting thinner as you get stuff for mission rewards.

With that being said, once at 90% you should pay 10% of the price tag of the tank alone (+ garage slot) but not 10% of the bundle price.

Edited: thanks Browarszky

Actually, it means that it's value does in fact decrease, just that the price stays the same. Sounds a bit fishy.... :fish_aqua:

It’s defintely a bit cheeky of WG that the discount isn’t linear but in the end it just means you have to look at what you”ll get in the discounted bundle and decide whether you think it’s worthwhile buying it.

90% discount is equivalent to a real 70/50% discount on the tank + garage depending on how they eventually price the bare bones tank.  Still worth it but can't say I find the tank particularly appealing and they don't seem to do that well in games even with very good players in them.

As said, nominal price of the tank is around 40 Euro (as it has a slightly higher gold value than the Lorraine), at 90% you'll pay 6 Euro, so effectively it's a 85% discount on the tank. Or for completeness:

Stages completed, Official discount, Remaining price, Estimated effective tank discount based on 40 Euro pricetag

0, 0%, 58,41€, -46,03%

1, 10%, 52,57€, -31,42%

2, 20%, 46,73€, -16,82%

3, 30%, 40,89€, 2,22%

4, 40%, 35,05€, 12,39%

5, 50%, 29,21€, 26,99%

6, 60%, 23,36€, 41,59%

7, 70%, 17,52€, 56,19%

8, 80%, 11,68€, 70,8%

9, 90%, 5,84€, 85,4%

10, 100%, 0€, 100%

As said before, the first three stages are more or less just for the extra stuff, actual tank discounts start with stage 4.

Nothing in the bundle that I really want including the tank, but what do you get if you sell the tank itself?

Where are you picking up the gold value from?

There's nothing in game at the moment, pulling it up with preview through the comparison doesn't give a purchase option. It's showing 11,000 gold on tanks.gg though, compared to 10,700 for the Lorraine 40t so I'd say it's safe to assume it'll priced around the same as the Lorraine when it's sold after the marathon.

I still can't help feeling mislead, I'm in Stage 4 and I have a '30% discount' on the Progetto according to what the Premium shop tells me.. if in fact that is only a measly 2,22% off the price of the tank....

You can't buy the Lorraine for gold either though can you?  I thought it was a shop only tank.  11k seems like a Tier 8 Heavy tank price & I'd have been expecting a bit less for a medium.  The way WG priced the T-44-100 made a rod for their back which I'd expect them to have learnt from.

No, you can't. I think the gold prices are included as it's how much you'd get if you bought a second tank for the crew or bundle. I agree that it's expensive for a tier 8 medium but it's on par with the Lorraine so maybe it's an auto-loader weighting or something.

You can't say that WG haven't learned from the T-44-100 - the Cornetto bundle is made up with all the mission rewards so when it's time to sell it again, there'll be an option to pay the same sort of figure as the Lorraine and they don't have to offer the discounts that we get by completing stages.

Guess they might price it like the Lorraine 40t doesn't seem as attractive to me though t the moment.  Has anyone tried calculating it by costing the extras and then deducting that from the bundle total?

Would be pretty pointless. The credits alone would be valued at 4250 gold if you use the nominal 400:1 conversion rate, similar for the equipment. But credit stuff is always heavily discounted in any bundle as nobody in their right mind would spend money on that stuff with the normal rate.

The 11k gold value is a fact and the real money price of the tank will be based on that. No guessing required. Also it's not the only medium to be priced in that range, the T-34-3 also has a 11k goldprice, and the STG at 9700 isn't that far behind (plus as already noted T-44-100 and Lorraine).

What’s on the Line

Firstly, the Progetto M35 mod 46 Premium tank is the main prize, and this is the first time ever a Tier VIII vehicle has been both a trophy and a a tank that launches a new nation. Secondly, tankers will get a chance to earn it for free. It’s a challenging objective that will require the best of your abilities, but the result is more than worth it.

The Fast Lane

If you’re anxious to try out the new experience immediately, you can jump to the Premium Shop and purchase the whole bundle featuring all the rewards for each event battle mission and the Progetto.

If you decide to purchase the bundle, completing stages beforehand will discount the final price—10% off for each stage completed. For example, completing 7 out of 10 stages will knock 70% off the price.

They are very careful with the wording in the news post. You have a chance to earn the tank for free, but the discount you earn from the stages is a discount from the bundle, not the tank itself.

They are considerably less careful with the wording in the Premium shop, though, as they (I've only completed stage 4) clearly state 'Progetto M35 m46: 30%'.
