When in battle, press M. See what it does. Then press M again. That's the minimap. Look at it, even just every once in a while. It is useful. I'm not salty. Maybe I'm a little bit salty. I would've written this in newcomers, but this sadly is a tip that is still valid for some of the more "veteran" players out there.

I lost count how many times i tried to tell other less gifted players that we have a minimap. I guess for some people it is too much to multitask few different things on one screen.

The most common example is when TD camps in the sniping mode looking in one direction with 0 enemies and not turning back when is being flanked from the back, sometimes such a player still tries to guess who shoots him and still looks in front of him in the sniping mode trying to find those invisible enemies.

I suspect plenty of players actually remove the mini-map. Perhaps they think it will give them better vision, or something. I can think of no other reason why they completely ignore what's happening.

When you sweeten up I call you to sugar my coffee :girl:

By the way if average player would ever see the map they will not imrpove the results, they rather will become flat earthers

I look at the minimap, take into account how many people are ignoring it, and then ignore it myself....Then get ragged by the other players ignoring it, for ignoring it.

Telling people "Look at the map" is pretty pointless.  Most people have it visible, most of those who appear to being ignoring it are in fact oblivious to the concepts of strategy and tactics.  The old expression 'you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink' was never more appropriate.  It makes me laugh when irate players spend half the game pinging some hapless tomato light, camping at the back.  If they don't know what they're supposed to do, pinging the map 100 times is not going to help them...

I'd 'like' this post of yours but it is too sad. True, but sadly true. :(

@OP... you can even enlarge the map from micro size to useful size by using your + key on the num pad :great:

you need to add that they must also push + and not the - button.

I play with the mini-map maxed out! Playing the game in 2d is much better.

I play without Minmap , because teams are crap. #DontWinJustDoDamage
