BTW the TOPIC was meant to be WHY cant you BAN teamkiller...

the penalty for team dmg or team kill is way too low/....

if someone shots a teammate while aiming at an enemy tank it's different but cant it be detected if someone aims at you and kills/dmg you or even better cant it be completely banned?

I am so tired of noobs who think they understand the game and shoot you for passive spotting or other nonsense just because they don't understand the game...

It's very easy to get banned for team damage. Doesn't take many shots at all.

yeah doesn't take many shots but when you're hit and have 200 life left and some moron kills you he does not get banned...

The system does not go for damage or kills. It only counts the amount of shells.

it does? good to know

anyway there is a system that tracks the teamdamage of a player over time not just per battle.

So repeating offenders will face slowly increasing banns up to finaly a permaban.

So no worries, keep your cool.

If it was for one hit, or even 200 damage. It would be to easy to exploit if you want to troll. Or even get banned when someone drives in front of your gun, or shell as many do. It's 3 for a reason to give a little leeway. But IMO it should be based on tier and alpha a bit too. Not just 3 hits for everyone. As a 183 can do over 3K damage before he turns blue. LT-100 can do 900. Or a Matilda can do 135 damage, while the Hetzer can do over 900. It's a bit off in that regard.

Use the "full editor" and change your title.

I would keep it very simple. As soon as someone turns blue, they blow up in game, and get a Silver penalty based on tier. Tier 1 20K, Tier 2 40K, etc. up to 200K for Tier X tanks. I am not talking about the random shot, but only when the player turns blue. Or, you could change it that when a players is blue, they receive 0 credits and 0 XP for the next ten games, after which, when doing 0 team dmg in those 10 games, the blue status goes away.If they do team dmg in these 10 games, the count resets, and they must play 10 more games with 0 credits and 0 XP.

In all my games I've been teamkilled when passive scouting maybe twice. Are you too passive when passive scouting. I've seen LTs "passive scout" from hill on Karelia assault as attacker...

Met several team-killers. The usual suspects are TD/Heavy players camping a long way behind you. They can make the mistake of being too far back and the spotted enemies will then be outside of their render range and they cannot look at the mini-map and deduce they need to move forward. So they get impatient and blame the spotter.

Here's how to notice those people and what to do about it: when you spot loads of reds and they don't get offed fast enough, bugger off to the other flank.

The problem with that is, that you can turn blue by accident, like if a light tank runs into a heavy tank and kills himself.

The heavy tank takes the blame even if he/she is standing still.
