Has anyone noticed that they are still being shot after sixth sense has shut off and being unlit for longer than 10 + 2 seconds? I have been noticing that I've been getting hit, after the sixth sense has unlit. I'm not talking a second or even two. The last time I could swear it was more than that. In fact it had to be because I had moved a significant  distance from last spotted location, and yet I'm still getting shot as if I am still lit when I'm not. It's not the normal blind shot type hit. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens enough for it to be annoying. I wonder if its just a bug where I'm being relit but it's not warning me.

How do you know you weren't spotted at the time?

Replay? I guess you actually were still
spotted the whole time. Sixth Sense visual also stops showing, if you are still spotted.

I don't that's the point. But I do know that the sixth sense lights for the full 10 seconds lit with a mod in Aslains mods. There is a skill that lights one up for another 2 seconds. So I was only assuming that after 10 seconds and the light goes off and stays off it means I am now unspotted. I usually wait a further few seconds to be sure. I also assume if I do not get relit then I am not spotted. Therein lies the problem. After the 10 + 2 seconds, and a few extra I have been shot from nowhere near last spotted position and I am not lighting up. I am now recording games just to make sure it's not my mistake. Which I have a feeling it is but I just wanted to ask if anyone had ever had the same problem. If they haven't then it's me

That is the point. If you are permanently spotted. The lightbulb vanishes after 10-12 seconds and does not light up again because you are still spotted.

Skill designated target adds extra 2 seconds plus if you have designated target directive too then you will get another 2 seconds. But ye, like the previous guy said... you might have been getting spotted for longer.

That's where you are going wrong, it goes off even if you are still spotted.

I've noticed the same thing, I wait long enough to become unspotted, move out to try and spot again (I mostly play lights) get shot and then only about 5-6 seconds later sixth sense goes off.

Sixth sense goes off after 3 seconds of actually being spotted.

So what unexplained "point" have you observed? As per your original post...

I don't suppose you have a replay?  Or, can you enable replays and the next time it happens to you upload the replay to wotreplays.eu

Cheers love.

ive had problems with 6th sense not actually going off at all, and i dont mean delayed, i mean not going at all. Not often, but happens now and then and only since 1.0 was deployed.

I thought I was going mad, but I've seen the same thing a number of times where I've been shot by invisible tanks at short range. And I've also thought there was something wrong with sixth sense in 1.0 but thought I was just being paranoid. Glad I'm not the only one wearing a tin foil hat.
