I have 5000 bonds now - which enhanced equipment gives best bang for buck?

I'll porpably mount it on M41 GF or AMX 13 57

Vents is always useful overall, even 2.5% increase is a good thing to the tank overall to increase stats a bit.

Rammer - I think it's more useful only for Mediums/Heavies, maybe Arty. Lights don't have that much firepower, so that would not be beneficial IMO.

Stabs - maybe, but I don't think it would be that useful.

Optics - a pretty good choice for a light tank to get even better spotting.

tl;dr - EIther Vents or Optics. First one will increase all of your stats a bit, and the second one will increase your spotting.

most eficient is vents , think:

Vents normally got 5%

Improved vents got 7,5%  , so this is basicaly 50% more than the normal vents.

while other eq got:

10% normal

12,5% improved

so only 25% more .

Don't waste bonds on equipment, keep them in stock because there is a good chance you'll be able to buy tanks with it in the future.

These improved equipments provide such a negligible boost they are not worth the amount of 5000 bonds, 500-1000 would be a realistic price for the improved equipment.

It adds up. Play with full improved equipment + food + maybe even that thing for the crew boost and the upgrade will be significant.

It does add up but getting into a situation that makes the small bonus work is... quite low. In the end what is most important is skill,  map knowledge and luck.

Food, BiA and Equipment provide the biggest bonus (and are *FAR* cheaper), the improved equipment hardly matters, especially considering the (in comparison) massive price you have to pay for them.

Improved equipment are hardly pay2win as you can't buy it for real money.. :sceptic:

Voted for vents as that is what I want to get when I get enough bonds.

I like the Stabilizer the best, although if all your key tanks use Vents it gives you the biggest boost.

Drop (automatic) fire extinghuiser and use food  in combination with the fire fighting directive for 2 bonds/battle.

It my case improved equipment i'm interested in offers changes in range of 0.02-0.04.

I know it adds up but the question is if it's worth it. For me it is NOT. Everybody has different levels of acceptance. Some people spend $30 million for a porcelain cup of Chinese dynasty and some people would never do it.

The only way you are ever going to get noticeable benefit from improvs is to use them on tanks that have massive drawbacks (Chinese TD's, Sh*tbarn, derp T49/Sheridan etc.).

But who would want to waste bonds on making a bad tank slightly less bad?

Personally I am hardly ever in a position to use the modest extra dpm or whatever the shiny stuff gives you. Tried playing with extra everything on test server and didn't really feel the benefit. I am saving mine (8.5k now) on the off chance something cool becomes avaulable for purchase at a later date.

Best advice I can give is whatever you buy, put it on a tank you play regularly, whether it's moneymakers, Strongholds or CW. For my 1st piece I put an improved rammer on my E3 as I was doing TotT missions with it at the time, didnt play the tank after that and it sat unused for ages before I decided to demount (200 bonds) and put it on my AMX 30 to ensure i'd see some benefit from it.

The experimental optics at 3k are a decent buy for tier 6 meds if you play them regularly

Have kept my bonds since putting improved optics on my T-34-85M, as like has been said before, there may be more content to come for this currency in the future

People have been saying this for months but we've seen nothing but some minor speculation that this might happen, I'd rather use them on something that is useful now rather than wait around for ifs and maybes.

If this was actually happening anytime soon we'd have seen some concrete rumours about it and seen some tanks being tested but we haven't, meaning its a long long way off and considering the last ranked battles getting 10k bonds was pretty easy people have plenty of time to earn probably 30-40k bonds before this bonds for tanks happens, even if it does happen.

Agreed. We also don't know what the potentially upcoming reward tanks are and if they are even worth getting in the first place.

I think saving bonds for "the better tomorrow" is just a way of minimizing the value from them. Better equipment is better equipment plain and simple and by investing on that you're guaranteed to get some value. The difference may not be not huge(my estimate is that having 3 improved pieces gives a buff equal to 66% of premium food depending on how you value different stats) but with VStabs and Vents you do certainly notice a small difference.

On the gun handling department which is the primary area I want to buff the improved equipment actually gives you more(!) than food and on view range(#2 priority for me) you get 2-4m less view range than food would give in comparison. Of course nothing stops you from using food on top of the improved equipment for the combined value.

I personally rather buff my favorite tanks a little bit than stockpile the bonds in anticipation of tanks that may or may not come, that may or may not be worth getting.
