It's been a few months that i started to play again, and i feel like bushes provide too much camo... or maybe it's the new TD's that are too strong ?

Appart from the fact that WG put bushes everywhere on their new maps, are they too strong ?

Really annoying me... maybe it's just me but i'd like to have more opinions the question

We need every part of the map to be covered in them.

I want a doughnut bush instead of camo net.

Bushes rnt the problem, the map layout combined with OP TDs r.

I would say, people without decent understanding of the spotting mechanics and map knowledge are. Once you get hit by an unspotted TD you should roughly know where he is bushwacking, so you try to not get shot again, or at least you can take a calculated risk based on what TD actually hit you.

The majority of players don't know how to use bushes most effectively.  Most players just shove themselves inside a bush and start blasting away, all the while expecting to not be noticed.  If you think bushes are too powerful, maybe you should try using them.

Uneven surfaces are more OP, that's why WG flattened some 1.0 maps.

They may come for bushes next...

I seem to get spotted more easily now than on the old maps.  Bushes don't seem stronger to me.

Hang on.... Well, I just went outside and sat on a hydrangea. It broke. So no, I don't agree.

We all get the mechanics. The playerbase did not change. Same crapthat went down 3 years ago is going down now, playerwise.

Compared to earlier times, WoT got campier. and spotting/camo got a little bit unabalanced for some tanks.
I know we like to shout out the occasional "git gud" if sum1 complains but let's try to THINK about what actually happens and if there might be a problem when so many people complain about it.

And the answer to "try to not get shot again" mostly is camping ur [edited]of. and since the TDs outspot you and many of em turn damn quickly  flanking is a suicide mission more often than not.
And thats fine, occasionally. Calm ur tits, wait, check the situation and try sumthing else. but nowadays, on many maps there is:

FOREST

OPEN SPACE

FOREST

and both teams wank off in their respective forests farming all the poor suckers who actually try to play the game.

You and me maybe but I guess the majority of the player base doesn't...

I think if a real tank sat behind a bush and fired most of the leaves would fall off. So address the OP's concern maybe WG could model this to make bushes less dense the longer a tank fired from behind them? Of course that would lead to bushes becoming 'used up', but a great way to stop camping. :bush:

No bushes do not provide too much camo

Yes some of the new TDs are too strong = Object 268 v4 in particular

New maps seem to have fewer bushes and on the whole slightly lower than before 1.0

Bushes are not too strong

It might be annoying you, but you are alone regarding new maps and bushes.

If you take the OBJ268 V4 out of the question,

almost all of the TDs, (particularly non-turreted ones) are helpless sitting ducks..

The thing that makes them look OP are the idiots playing against them..

There are only handful of bushes which are placed good and all of them are obvious.

and an idiot sits infront of that bush.. gets hit.. and screams OP TDs, IMBA TDs..

it is like george carlin said..

"You build a house on the outskirts of Pompei, and then you wonder why there is lava in the living room!"
