Dear Humble Tankers,

Would like to get a brief summary on how to actually save, upload game replays. How to do it and how much space one replay takes up on my HDD?

I would do this to get some feedback later from you on my totally fukked up games :)

Thank you

while in game press esc-> settings-> bottom left of the first page set battle recording to all->play a few games.  minimize the game. on the games shortcut right click and left click on ''open file location''-> look for a folder named ''replays'' find the replay that you want ( usually its at the very top or the very bottom) drag the replay to your desktop (optional)  go to wotreplays.eu . login from the top right corner  then -> upload replay button ->choose your replay  save and you are done.  if you wish to share it   you can copy the address from the top

Saving replays is done in settings: Menu  -> Settings->  General -> scroll down all the way to bottom left, there is the option to enable battle recording; select 'all', so all games are saved

Replay size varies between 1 MB to 2 MB generally (some are smaller, some a bit bigger, never seen it exceed 3MB tho)

They can be found in the directory *Your hard-drive* > World of Tanks > Replays

You can upload these replays on the site WoTreplays.EU, this site is used by about everyone for sharing replays. Login using your account & use the Upload replay button to upload one of your replays & share it with the community. In the Upload menu, don't forget to select a replay file by using the 'Choose file' button.

Pick appropriate title & a description if you wish. Make sure the description includes timestamps when you want to highlight an action (by example: 9:50: My KV-4 rammed the Object 257 into oblivion; where 9:50 is the timestamp, so people can forward to that time & see the fun)

Have fun!

Edit: I got ninja'd!

I blatantly use this thread; which program do you use if you want to record a video of your replay or gameplay (and upload to youtube)?

Any videocapture software will do..I did mine with OBS which also is use(d) for streaming but I think both Nvidia and AMD have videocapture software as well now.

It may work, but it does not do anything.

My last replay has been on recording state for 2 months. First page hasn't change either.

Heh, you made me check my replays & it turns out I do have a few that exceed 3 MB (barely tho) all Maus games on Grand Battles, except one KV-4 game last year on Prohorovka Encounter, which oddly enough was a quite lousy game, hardly any damage dealt, barely any spotting either. I did drive nearly 4 km in that match, which is quite the distance for that mobile steel bunker.

No clue why my files are all small, as I got several that lasted the full 15 minutes, but aren't even close to biggest.
