How to balance tier 10 using tier 10 artillery.

We all know tier 10 balance is an utter mess, therefore I have come to the conclusion the we need volunteers sacrificing their dignity and sanity by playing tier 10 artillery to try and balance it out a bit more, observe that this can only be done with a tier 10 artillery since that's the only way you can guarantee always meeting tier 10's. 

 

This is the scheme you should follow(currently): 

 

Tanks are put into BALANCECON's depending on how unbalanced they are, BALANCECON1 is the highest degree. 

Always focus tanks within the highest degree of BALANCECON, an exception could be made for enemy artillery since they can be tricky to succesfully counter, so i'd advise focusing a tier 10 arty as if it was a BALANCECON3 despite it being classified as a BALANCECON1. 

 

FAQ:

 

  • What do I do If there are no tanks that are of degree BALANCECON3 or higher still surviving? 

 

Answer: You have to ask yourself, which matters the most to you, balancing tier 10 or winning the game. You can give up some of your dignity and keep helping your team to win or you can be a conscientious objector and abstain from being a part of what imbalances tier 10, basically you AFK. The latter part is very controversial and actually even against the game rules. You could compromise and focus the tanks that are the closest to be in BALANCECON3, like obj 140, tvp. It's a moral dilemma for sure, but it's your choice.

I would argue Super Conq is stronger. You can't pen his turret if his hull is hidden :P

I dont think the Maus or Wz need special attention. The 2 button sorts the Maus problem out pretty quickly, the Wz to my knowledge is no more of a problem than an Is7. I agree with group one and 2 though.

5a is stronger than the IS-7 onlyreally in that it gets HEAT rather than the IS-7s crappy APCR.

BALANCECON3 are generally powercreepers, basically tanks that have made other tanks similar to them completely obsolete.

Simple: remove artillery from the game. That would be a huge step to improving balance, since it would allow everyone to actually play the game and use a lot more ways to deal with the unbalanced tanks on the enemy team without the fear of getting clicked for not cowering behind the highest building.

I agree it should be removed from the game, it is a BALANCECON1, but that is unrealistic since WG is intent on keeping it. Might as well use it for something less evil while it's around.

when i clicked it on it honestly expected an image of your arty penning a 268v4 for an obscene amount of damage, kinda disappointed.

I would put the Type 5 into Balancecon1, just because it can sh*t on everything like arty is able to, including other Type 5s and 268 V4s.

Agree. BC1 should basically be the "broken" tanks - the ones that just break the balance of the game completely.

Type 5 definitely falls into that category when equipped with the derp gun. (BC2 then being clearly-OP tanks, and BC3 the powercreepers)

I'm happy to help while I am trying to complete SPG15 with honoursfor the 260 , but for the love of RNJeebus and Serb, please , if I stun something in front of you, shoot it, dont just leave him and shoot something else - Oh, and all balancecon priorities will be reset if I see a Chrysler P2W GF - we already have an agreement with Sir Foch that we must focus them down ASAP then after battle send a nice poite "get Foch'd for P2W" message to them :-)

Umm yes I myself initially also though of putting Type 5 in BALANCECON1 but I decided not to because despite it having an utterly gamebreaking gun(Derp) It severely lacks mobility(unlike 268 4) and you can pen it relatively reliably with tier 10 premium penetration(unlike 268 4 with pixel cupola), e.g. 330 HEAT rounds. Type 5 heavy will kill you slowly, given it can't pen you with the HE, if you don't have the mobility to run away. Meanwhile you could it put in a few penetrating shots and have a chance of survival. Obj 268 4 will will absolutely maul you if you don't have mobility and you can't do anything(unless you're another tier 10 TD with prem ammo :) ), and if you do have enough mobility to try and run away it will hunt you down like a rabid dog and maul you.
