....you just can't seem to catch a break? Bottom tier is every battle which is tricky enough in itself but in every battle your top tier teammates are worse than useless and you just wonder why you bother clicking battle not just again but EVER again? You're just about to quit for the evening and decide in angered defiance to click that damned battle button one more time just to put the final nail in the coffin before calling it a day but you finally get a battle as top tier and think maybe this is the one only after just a short time yet again your team melt and you find yourself in an utterly hopeless 7 vs 1 situation and the enemy top tier tanks are all still in the battle and full hp? arty turning the screw on you?

Well, sometimes it just feels good to throw in the towel and drown yourself, put yourself out of your misery...

Yes, these little rushes that are spikes in our dopamine feedback loop keep us eagerly pressing Battle in order to experience the rush again.  Congrats on the result.  It feels better to end a session on a high note.

Yes, these seem to come and go in bunches. Some days you just lose and some days you could roll your tank over and still win. My wins for last weekend were some ~30%.

Yes. I've also had sessions that run exactly the opposite, where it seems I can do no wrong, my armour's always perfectly angled to bounce those shots that would have finished me otherwise and my teams run rampant over the wreckage of our enemies. I choose to remember the sessions where things went right and try to learn from the ones where things went wrong.

Yeah, they come and go. I like a lot of people tend to roll my eyes watching teams suck out and yeah, from time to time I get irked by them. However the most annoying thing I find is making the correct play and doing everything you can to carry a team, but when you need RnG to work, it just (edit) all over you!

But after a 10 minute cooldown, I always end up hitting that battle button, to give it one more go!

Thanks man, appreciate it. Interestingly I just noticed that the in-game description of a Kolobs now states that unlike before where you could attain this epic medal by not losing, in other words a draw would do, now a player must win the battle. For me this is how it should be because, even though it's still difficult to survive vs 5 or more enemy players, you could avoid those last 2 enemy tanks if you had a light tank and so long as they didn't have enough time to cap and win, that would be enough to bag a Kolobs. I didn't know there was these changes made until just now but it's the right call I think and now you gotta go get some!

Just played 9 games with Prosciutto, lost 8. No matter what I do, no matter how good I play, no matter the key positions I take. In a 3-5-7 matchmaking at least 1/3 top tiers is a 45%-er.

Just had a 5-10 himmelsdorf encounter battle where my top tier Conqueror died like idiot, Jpanzer decided to push around castle and got farmed from the side and AMX30 Proto with 78 000 (seventy-eight thousand battles) decided to camp the corner on rails. He also proceeded to call his team idiots.

Oh and in the next game on mines enemy CGC waited for 5 minutes for me to poke, instead of shooting spotted VKB, in order to remove my last 500 hitpoints. Not XVM focus, not at all.

This game makes you loose your faith in humanity.

EDIT: I'm persistent, consistent and predictable: 10% win rate this morning with Prosecco.

last night, every frickin team just folded in under 4 minutes then I flipped my tanks twice in two games surrounded by other players not one of them bothered to help.. just gave up in disgust before I posted something worthy of a ban on the forum.

I've had exactly the opposite these last 2 days - 21 wins out of 25 (and 1 draw) on Tuesday, 9 wins in a row before a defeat yesterday.

It's just your turn in the barrel is all :)

Well you got pretty lucky on that one......losing 7 vs 1 takes dedication.

Had a dead bot in my team call me a coward because i didn't want to go 1 vs 1 against a tier 8 HT in my tier 8 MT with half the health. So i waited for reinforcement and made it a 4 vs 1 instead. That way the guy didn't even last 4 seconds.

That's actually pretty long...i had games where half the team was dead in 2 minutes.

RNG just gave me LT-14 for the T55-A, getting 5000 assist damage and over the line by 12 points.  I'm going to do something else now, since it can only go downhill from there.

You forgot to add as well that on the run of crap even your fully aimed shots suddenly start to miss or zero damage crit hit, you just gotta pucker up and take it like a tanker

2 days ago I was grinding credits and played the Swedish prems Strv and S1 alternately for 11 battles without a win, but got two wins in a row on battle 12 and 13. Still made credits though.

Ya absolutely and anyone that picks up a Kolobs needs a bit of luck, nobody should really be winning alone vs 5 or more enemy with the exception of maybe a full hp top tier tank vs 2 1 shot tanks and 3 arty or some very kind situation like that or an ignored cap that just happens to win out shortly after your last teammate gets dispatched the other side of the map. In my case I really had no business winning alone against almost half a team in a slow paper medium albeit top tier but also vs top tier and some very decent mid tier tanks so lucky for sure but I played it well too and when there is just one tank left and so most players often get over confident, as they should in a 7vs1 and charge over aggressively in an effort to get the last kill and farm that last bit of damage instead of working as a team and using the number advantage while others players that are much further away sometimes stop playing knowing they won't get there on time and so when I quickly knocked out 3 tanks, the remaining 4, 2 of which were arty, suddenly realized the battles was still very much alive and found themselves in a nasty situation vs an experienced player who knows his tank very well and there tanks too. Very tough finish, lucky for sure, would love more of this situation, good for the adrenaline rush :)
