I want to buy a T8 medium premium, but which one is good?  What are the advantages and disadvantages of these tanks?

The decision is between the Löwe, FV4202, the french M4A1, T26E4, T54 mod. 1, Panther 8.8 and STA-2.

Or maybe you can recommend another premium tank (it dont have to be tier 8)

Forget about the Panther 88, it's never been particularly great and it's really suffering in the current meta. I traded mine in for the STA-2 and have been delighted with my choice but I'd hesitate to recommend that unless you really want it.

First things first, what lines are you grinding? Tier 8 premiums really benefit from good crews so if you've already got a decent crew you might be better off with a complementing premium than one which is strong in another line but you'll have to play dozens of battles to get your crew on their first skill.

Secondly, what tanks do you like to play? You've listed a variety of tanks with different playstyles and approaches. The Löwe is a good support heavy, the Ravioli is a credit monster with no armour and so-so gun handling and penetration, the T-54mod1 is a good close support medium that lacks a little mobility, the Spershing is a medium/heavy that gets preferential match-making and so will see a lot of tier 9 battles against players who all know its weak points and the STA-2 is a decent all-round support tank although it also has no armour.

If I were you, I'd play the Panther/M10 more. It's a great tank and not a terrible earner and you seem to have a decent win rate in it. You might want to look at the VK 45.03, it's said to have a tier 8 credit multiplier on a tier 7 tank, though I don't have one so can't vouch for it. Another option might be the Pudel - it's a VK 30.02 (M) clone with a bit more armour and a bit less mobility; I'm thoroughly enjoying playing mine but you'll be grinding a crew for a line that's only recently been mentioned and it's not really clear what we can expect to see.

As for the rest, you can download the current test server and maybe play a couple of them on there. You get 20k pretend gold to play with so can buy a couple of tech-tree premiums to try out, although the test server is usually full of kiddies using an all-gold loadout so it might not tell you much about the armour.

Finally, don't buy anything unless there's a discount. Discounts come around regularly and you'll get 15% off the price of a tier 8 premium so it's worth waiting unless you really can't be arsed.

Löwe

^  This...Löwe is the best medium one can have.

On a serious note: Don't buy any tier 8.

MM is bad and you don't have enough games and experience to play up there.

There are some good credit earners and crew trainers down below.

For someone with your stats either the Lowe or the T-54 Mod1, they feature armor which will keep you alive longer if you make mistakes.

Cobra 6

There are only a few viable t8 premiums left IMO.

Lowe, Defender, Lorr 40t, Skorpion G, Revalorise and maybe t54 mod1 and Patriot (maybe I forgot some others but those come to mind).

With 3k games, i would recomend you a tank destroyer

the WZ-120G FT is pretty good...

i wouldnt recomend you to buy a heavy, medium or a TD that require experience, because you will end up being dissapointed or giving your teams problems and ending up losing games a lot.

With the WZ you should score some credits, be usefull and have some fun, since the tank is streight forward OP, you excelent frontal armor, and even if you dont push or play agressively, you still will have impact on your teams play, you only have to ensure to not commit mistakes like pushing too far or getting killed to early... and you should be ok.

Panther/M10 is kind of fun to play.

T-44-100. Fast, agile, gun is not *that* bad and armor even bounces something. Too bad T8 MM is what it is but still I like it.

It's a great tank but over-priced due to being commensurate with the cost of tokens when it was a marathon prize. T-54mod1 is probably a better premium for a newer player because it's got a bit more armour.

I would not buy any of the ones you listed. I have STA-2 and it's one of the most disappointing premium tanks I purchased. Very weird and trollish gun with horrible matchmaking. T26E4 is just a slow and boring tank.

FV and Panther 8.8 are never scary on the battlefield. I don't remember ever being intimidated by these.

Get Panther/M10. I often just play that tank instead of my tier 8s. Trust me man, it's a gem of a tank.

If it's Meduim then Lorraine 40t, it's so good it made me grind autoloaders...

Lorraine is fast and has an excellent gun with 232 pen.

The autoloader actually makes you think and slow down whilst you reload. Or at least it did for me...

I vote for the 'Keep your money' heavy or the 'Spend your money on something else' TD, but the 'Don't waste your money' light is also a good choice. Instead, pick a tier 5-6 tank you are good with and farm credits with that.

But if you insist on a tier 8 premium, then Löwe, that's the most user friendly.

However if you are thinking lower tier you can pick anything, but DO NOT buy the Skoda T40. Rudy, T3485M much better.

The mod1's armour is indeed excellent when top tier. So budget for a fun game 5% of the time. That being so, I would get whichever has the biggest gun.

T54 Mod 1 I think is the best of the bunch.

I like T-54 Mod 1 and M4 Rev

T-54 Mod 1: Armor

M4 Rev: Good gun

If I were you and a newer player I'd get something with armor. And it's a good crew trainer for plenty of russian mediums.

Just noticed that the Patriot is back in the premium shop in plain and clown versions. It's one of the best tier 8 premium medium tanks despite actually being a heavy and makes good credits thanks to cheap APCR standard ammo with decent pen (230mm).
