Just wondering why there is a dxdiag log file in my WoT folder?

it contains information about about my system that i dont think is retentive to the game, such things like registry keys of devices and windows error reports (what the error was. its event code etc) as well as a host of other things.

was this info sent somewhere?

But the game works? Every application in Windows leaves a registry trail, maybe you have a hardware issue.

As I understand, DXDIAG is just that, a diagnose of your system, maybe it will work maybe it'll not, but you should survive to it unless you hardware its at it's last days. If you say the error number maybe I can help you more. Check the temps of your GPU and CPU with soft like HWINFO, clean drivers with DDU (Display driver uninstaller) and make a clean install... I dunno. keep us informed. I have a DXDIAG file too, like in almost any game, it's just a log that you can check for failures.

You have always stress test like 3Dmark or Furmark, there are a lot. Check the temps first and update BIOS if not updated, it can give you wrong lectures. Greetings.
