The title says it all.

I got it for free, totally, last night and i was wondering  if and how many others, at least in the forums, managed to get it for free.

I played the tanks where i have the most experience and thst i like the most. Batchat, tier 7 american autoloading lights, also grinding the T54E1 at the same time. Plus some loraine games.

That was the first trick.

The second trick was that i spammed gold so much that i nearly got to 0 credits. Fortunately those 3 premium days expecially towards the end helped a lot.

Third trick. I played not for Wn8 but for exp. Which are two totally different beasts. Most guys, especially here in the forums like to show off their stats, aka Wn8, but that wouldnnot help you much with gaining exp.

I've seen average and above players farm dmg at the expense of their team mates and at the expense of assistance to team victory. So just camping in the middle of Malinovka could have helped some salty forumers if they had the brsins to think outside the corridor mentality.

Last trick  i had a lot of free time. Actually quited going to the gym these last few days...

Got the tank for free and it's ok, people will struggle with it though.

I picked it up this morning with an 80% discount. Haven't played it yet but that's ok because you didn't limit the answers on the third poll question so I could vote for both. :great:

Got it for free this morning but haven't played it yet. Pretty much played the amx 13-57 and the type 64 when i had died in the amx. The map rotation with a few less city maps on was helpful as well :)

You know that there's no way to cast a meaningful vote in questions 2 and 3, if you haven't bought the tank? And you have to select an answer in each question.

Are you saying that you cant just vote for the first question, in your case  a NO answer, and then press submit vote?

Correct. Polls on here have always worked (or not) like that - you have to answer all questions to be able to submit it.

But you can answer both 'yes' and 'no' to the third question. :teethhappy:

Yes - Free - Yes

In overall, I quite like the flexible gun. Quite often I find myself popping out behind a corner or a rock, unloading two and then rolling back into cover. And after that I'm not a sitting duck like I would've been in the Lorraine 40t, if I had chosen to reload after the 2 shots fired. I'm guessing the tank would become even better, once I manage to get the crew to 3 skills. Would be hard without Premium account at the moment, but I've done more stupid things in the past. I'd give the tank a 7.5 out of 10.

How long before the discount runs out or is it now permanent for those that got a % off but haven't bought it yet.

Some people said that it will last 3 days after. Meaning that you can buy it with a discount til 30 april

But i cant give you an official source for that

Got it freee, almost lost the will to play last night though - first of all the server crash and locked profile, then once I could get on the joys of the gameplay last night meant I dropped to 41% wrfor the day. As an example of the sort of stuff that was happening, took my Strv S1 out to mountain Pass- was first to get to the bridge, engaged Siege mode , only to be nudged out by a Centuruin who decided he wanted the spot - he then decided to fire across the bridge, though nothing was spotted - resulting in him geting spotted, and a great big arty shell missing him and hitting my still unspotted S1...he also tried to shoot me, but as he was such a master of the fame he even missed friendly fire from 25m .... later in the same battle another wonderfull team mate in friendly arty took 25% of my health as well with an ill considered shot... add in yolo heavy tanks who just died, and unsurprisingly we lost... and this sort of thing kept happening, the centuruin later turned out to the Centurin was basically a 3.7k battle bot/griefer with a 46.8% wr and 653 wn8 - he did 1 damaging shot that game, and caused more than that to by done to me with his getting spotted trick - looking at the replay I suspect he tried to do the same to our Borsig as well  . Unfortunateley the Progetto maraathon seemed to have brought all these sort of vermin out of the woodwork - and last night RNG determined to put them on my team more often than not. The only saving grace is I know that at some point it will be the other way round, and I will get a run of good games, but it doesnt make it feel better when you are deep in the losing streak :-(

Played normally, grinding tanks, got to 40% discount as I expected to do so £30 for the bundle
This will mean that I will pay full price - approx £25 for tank and slot and get all the rest of the bonus items for £5 (30 x PR +50% XP, 30 x PR +50%Cr, 1.5M Credits, camo, 2 days Prem)

Would probably be a good deal if I wanted the tank, but I'm not sure I do

I am only a casual player that hasn't got the time to play hours on end every day.

I only got as far as the 3rd mission for a 30% discount.

But that still leaves the tank costing £34.98.

This includes equipment and credits etc.

Why should I splash out hard cash for crap I can easily grind for in game.

So no crap premium Italian tank for me.

The Patriot T26E5 has just gone on sale again.

I may buy that instead.

got to 50% discount, but cba to buy it since I know I will have freeze issues at home so what's the point... 30x credit bonus is tempting, but I have frequent ping/lag issues with virgin media atm. Not bothered, have plenty of premiums and reserves anyway... rotting away till ping issues are fixed.

Got it 2 days ago. And I actually like it. I hate the equal tier games with 6 of them on each team. As if 4 of them aims at you, you're gone in 2 seconds. First game I played in it there were 5 on my team on Fisherman's bay. South spawn, bush line towards town. Type 4 got spotted going into it... I've never seen a Super heavy disappear that fast.  But when I was the only one on the map in a tier X game etc. I had fun with it.

Tho I wonder if WG will post numbers this time around on how many got it for free or for 90% etc. They did with the IS-6, and only 10% got that one. So I suspect it will be equally low this time around. T26E4 was around 30% since there was a 5x weekend that counted and more or less everyone got a few 100K XP done then. WZ was rather low to i remember. But I never did see any numbers for the T-44-100 or T25 event with regards to who got if for free vs how many bought it via tokens etc.
