So, the progetto just became the 2nd most played tank, superceding the two infamous Soviet tanks, IS-3 and T-34-85M. It has the chance of becoming the best (at least the most played) tank in WoT. Still, Skorpion G is leading with an enormous amount of 170000 battles over it.

At least it's not OP, on average at least... IMO probably one of the highest skill cap tanks currently in the game, it requires extreme trigger-discipline for its true potential, or you'll get screwed.

everyone seems to play it waaay too passive, almost TD mode. Rarely seen a skilled player playing it to its true potential.

If you think this good, or bad, just you wait until either the Defender or the new Polish heavy is sold, still not got or intend to get the Progetto/

:))  no .... it doesn't. Is actually the opposite, you don't have to manage almost at all the clip , the one big advantage over standard autoloader. Is true that being "trigger disciplined" improves the performance in this tank, but not being is not screwing you.

I'd say is easily one of the best premiums, one of the most enjoyable for sure.

Why do I have under 50% wins in it, then? :D I guess I suck.

Because, in my estimation, this thing rips my Patriot apart in every encounter, I'm just going to post here what I posted in another thread:

Agreed, the mechanic removes the need to make a choice about reloading the drum with a shell or two still left, like you need to do in the standard autoloaders.

I'm more surprised (or, not really I guess) that there are so many Skorpions that theres still double compared to a new prem from a new nation that got given away for free. That tank has fucked tier 8 so hard simply by numbers.

You need atleast over 1500, from what I can tell. I'm glad I got lucky enough to get an Ace the other night this early on, considering I actually had two follow-up games that were better both on damage and IMO, how I played them, but even those didn't get enough XP.

Thought similar as well from playing yesterday. Only one of them in a game actually seemed to perform well, but even then he made some pretty large mistakes that I think heavily contributed to his team losing that game. Most of them, as you said, seemed to play way too passively (perhaps overthinking the new mechanic?), while a few actually played far too aggressively. As my platoonmate put it, a lot probably aren't playing it well because they don't have Sixth Sense or the like and feel very limited because of it, which is understandable and why a lot of others such as myself immediately used Free XP To get Sixth Sense straight away. That said, I don't think that alone explains how badly I've seen it played.

I find the tank really good. It's like a mini Lorrain and  a Skoda T 50 hybrid  that  always has a clip ready. Also it's incredibly flexible, with this you don;t need to worry about  reloading 1-2 shells and a 30 second reload.  And the tank is almost fully loaded with the down times in the games.

The moment I got 6th sense, my winrate went up in it and I was able to make more of an impact for my team.

... oh boy, it's gonna be a while before I can pull a game over 1500XP. Not impossible for me, but not easy for sure. :justwait:

I have it already on 2 marks and no M. This might be the first tank I 3 mark without Ace-ing it first.

It's nice to play certainly, really enjoy mine.

Strong? No, not really.

It is a tank with amazing potential, if you manage to resist the urge to go full clip trigger happy with it, the first games with it i rarely had that discipline and missed some amazing opportunities to do a good amount of damage... Rule of thumb, use the third shot only to finish off low hp tanks, otherwise you *edited* up your DPM really hard and you will have some rage moments, for example, you just got a full clip in a Tiger and now you need another shot to kill it and then... a wild O-Ho appears giving you juicy side armor but you can't shoot it AAAAAAAAH *bites keyboard*

Wasn't that impressed when I first played the Cornetto - I've now learned to give them a lot of respect since consistently playing against the thing.

Time to train that crew up!
