Just downloaded the new 1.0 update today, felt like playing some WoT again, but my FPS in game is horrendous, literally getting 7fps on the lowest settings. Drivers are updated too. No other CPU/GPU intensive programs running in the background either.

Specs in case you're wondering.

CPU: Intel i5-4590 3.3ghz

GPU: GTX 770 4GB

100% sure it's nothing to do with my specs, just completed with Far Cry 5 on high settings with pretty much a constant 45fps. Anyone know what is going on and how to fix this? Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Running 50-60 fps on high settings on an i5-3570K@3.4GHz and Radeon HD7900. Do you use an old HDD or an SSD? Because SSD is really an improvement although it should not be the reason for your problems.

Have you tried safe mode and/or without mods?

SSD would help with load times but once textures are loaded the game should run ok on that machine. You got some obscure hardware in that thing?

Restarted PC a couple times and everything seems fine. I am playing on a HDD atm, so loads times are a bit slow but don't think that was the problem. Getting very good FPS now. Probably just needed to restart after updating drivers.

Would put on my SSD but not enough space. Looks like I need to get a new one. Thanks for the quick responses anyway. :D

lol

When in doubt, restart. :great: Fixes all problems, don't it?

...to be fair, your PC should've restarted automatically after updating drivers.

I run a slower cpu and a 770 2gb.  With 12gb ram and an SSD.  I get 60 fps on a mix of ultra and high settings.  Run a memory check on your gpu and ram.
