wot runs pretty fine on toasters, just go for some cheap graphic card. gtx 1050 for example and you should be fine.

I'd say minimum specs to run on MAX settings 1080p 60fps, you'd want a GTX 1050, 8GB RAM and really any modern processor, preferably an i5, but as the other guy said, WOT will run on anything really

https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/intel-home-office-pc/

Probably self build for cheaper, but specs are about right to get decent performance from HD maps.

Hope this helps.

I recommended http://www.bargainha...igure-to-order/ to a clan mate earlier.

Back then the gtx 1060 was on offer.

The graphics card listed now is garbage though, but you could spec out an i5, 8GB RAM system there, get a 1060 off of amazon and still be 20% cheaper than the equivalent at pcspecialist.

This is just to give an idea of potential cost of you shop around.

I'm running at 60fps capped by vsynch on ultra settings using a GTX960 along with an i5-4690 CPU @ 3.50GHz, no need to take out a mortgage for a video card.

Actually the 1050 seems to be cheaper at the moment, ~£120 Vs ~£130 (new), but your card is cheaper used :)

I'm surprised you can get my card new.  I would have thought it had gone out of production years ago.

I should've clarified, these were buy it now prices on eBay, but I imagine used would be the same too, performance is similar between them, yours has more video memory, the 1050 has more cores.

Quite right about the price from PCSpecialist Baldrickk. As I said, it was more a list of specs than 'here's a good price'.

Ultimately, without knowing disposable funds, it's difficult to pinpoint exactly what and where from. IMO the 1050 would be fine, but as ever with PC purchasing, getting the best spec you can afford is the aim.

I’d say i3-8100, 8GB of RAM and a GTX 1050 / (if you can afford it) GTX 1050 Ti, will give some very solid bang for your buck

An SSD to install WoT on, even if you only get a low 64 GB one for a 2nd drive

An AMD 3850 or Intel i5 (and greater)

nVidia  1050 or greater

8GB of RAM

Win10 (its more or less the future gaming OS right now)

a free word processor with spelling and grammar checking to rant and post even more rants on the forums

These are not the cheapest parts but they will get you the most in game bang for buck.

Shop around ebay, Amazon and Google shopping for the lowest priced item.

and here is a handy site to compare bang for buck https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/

once you say decide to get a 1050, you could look at the benchmark position and notice a better cheaper card had been released. That's what I do when I upgrade. Spend a bit of time google shopping and benchmark comparison scores to figure out what is best in my budget range.

A used gtx 670 680 760 770 780 780ti 960 970 also work well for 1080p .

and 6xx-780 ti are "cheap".

670 is like 50 bucks here.

used is an option, especially after a faster card gets released. But I found the UK Ebay had used cards ended up in high price bid wars. In the end I opted for new during what seemed like a cost cutting month for a few brands of 1050s as it was only a bit more than an ebay used

Ok so I've got everything at MAX, runs smoothly at 80-90fps (even though my monitor has 60).
i5 4690k
16GB RAM (DDR3)
SSD (get this, u wont regret it)
Radeon R9 290x
Full HD monitor

Runs super smooth :) This is definitely a budget rig
