Well ... my old PC was definitely on it's last legs, so I splashed out on something a bit newer.

I really had no idea how damned glorious this game is - I've been playing on Low graphics for years now, and suddenly I'm on High.  And from 35 fps to 120 fps.
It's like a different game.

I know people joke about potato computers, but ... I totally understand it now.  I fully expect my visual glory to enhance my playing skills, and shall be Unicum within the week.

Well ... it's a laptop, with a GTX 1050.

Yeah, I know how you feel, I went from the absolute minimum graphics with 20 fps to maximum graphics with 60+ fps when i switched from my old laptop to a pc some years ago :)

Wow, I had the exact same, and did the exact same. New PC bought in late 2015.

It actually makes a huge difference to aiming, your mouse will feel more in sync with the visual output since you have higher fps :)

Up until late last year, iirc, I was still using a 7 year old GTX 560 Ti which was actually a pretty good (different architecture), but an inefficient GPU. Of course, it couldn't handle latest games and better graphics at any good framerates, so I finally decided to upgrade to GTX 1050 Ti model. This allows me to run WoT at custom settings, sometimes the framerates drop a litte too low, though, but I am able to manage it most of the time.

It certainly does and the visuals are really good with an upgraded PC, decided to splash out on new rig when Encore results with my old PC said don't bother even trying to run 1.0.

Now it's only a shame I can't seem to upgrade bit between chair and screen.....:)
