I currently grind two tier 9s, T-54 and Type 61. I like both, but Type's playstyle and appearance is closer to me and I like it more. I have just finished Centurion 1 and I'm 10.000 xp away from Skoda T50, so I will get it quite soon. The problem is, that I will have silver only for one. By the XP price for modules, I would say that Skoda grind is the more painful. Also I really liked the Centurion 1 and the 7/1 has a strong turret to build around (as it was with the 1) but the Skoda T50 at the beginning seems to be the same cr*p as TVP VTU was, which is, in my opinion the worst tier 8 tank in the game. So with the Skoda I need to grind until the autoloader gun to have some fun again. On the other hand, the Centurion 7/1 seems to be too similar to Type 61 and I'm afraid that I will find it too boring to play with - ridgeline fighter, same gun, similar playstyle, only differnece is that the Cent has armour on the turret.

So the question is, which one do you recommend to buy first, because I'm sure that I will postpone the other for a longer time.

I liked and kept both of them. They do have very different playstyle so I think it comes down to personal preference. The test server is still on so if you can't decide I recommend you download it and try both of them out.

On test server I liked the Centurion 7/1 and the Skoda T50 as well, but grinding them and playing them on long terms together with my other tanks in the garage is much different.

I tend to keep tanks that I like.

I kept;

T54

Centurion 7/1

Type 61

Skoda T50

The Centurion 7/1 and Type 61 are very similar although the Centurion 7/1 since the buffs might have the edge.

Once elite the Skoda T50 is a very strong tier IX tank. The tier VIII is a painful grind.

I have all the tier X's for those tier IX's as well.

By your comment, I would say that the Skoda is the better choice as I think I would be bored quite fast by the Centurion 7/1. Maybe it is better to buy it after I finish the grind with the Type 61.

Unless you have modules unlocked from elsewhere you have 124k of pain with the Centurion.  The first two guns will struggle even with premium ammo.

I kept the Centurion in my garage but it's on my list to sell if I need credits, I never take it out any more.

It has the Centurion 1's top gun and the FV4202's gun as stock. I think these guns work quite well, or at least I like them.

At tier IX?

Take the T50, you won't be disappointed.

Unless u free xp the modules, the T50 can be a hell of a grind.

Once it is elited it is a pretty strong t9 vehicle.

With the Centurion you cannot go wrong, superior (much in my opinion) to the Type 61.

I use the 20 pdr gun on it for the DPM.

Both choices are valid eventually, Skoda has a worse grind up to elite status.

Yes, this is why it is a difficult decision. But I think I will choose Skoda T50 as it differs more from Type 61. I think that after I finish the grind with Type 61, I will buy the Centurion 7/1 because I'm afraid that I will lose my interest in Centurion due to the too much similarities with Type 61.
