How do you contact customer support without getting a canned reply?

Some guy was driving around sticking his gun barrel into arty so they'd backfire. I sent a replay and screenshots to customer support and got some generic canned reply about matchmaking and how teamplay is good. Is there a way to contact an actual human these days?

Couple of things to try that have worked for me;

 

-File it under something other than team damage, such as game rigging.

-Keep reopening the ticket until someone actually reads and replies to it.

A few other things you can try!

 

  • Banging your head against the wall.
  • Getting blood out of a stone.

 

If that doesn't work, well I am out of ideas.

Locate the next WG event and run through it naked whilst handing out pamphlets of your complaint. This may work. ....Didn't work for me at Tesco, but hey, their security may be more vigilant than WG. Good luck :izmena:

When the UI got changed, it seems one of its features is to flip you the bird on that possibility.

Really you dont, or have to write in they gibberish language....ive never got any reponse from them at all..... slavs...just deal with that.

Strange, because about 5 years ago I remember them having excellent customer service. Now your options when making a ticket doesn't even have anything gameplay, cheating or harassment as an option for your ticket reason.

Use the "physics abuse" option and/or insist that whatever you spotted is NOT covered by the automated system.

How did you word your complaint? That is not the response I have gotten to such reports.

 

In the report:

1) Describe the incident and explain how it is not covered by the usual automated reporting system.

2) Tell them the time in the replay to look.

3) Avoid any editorial commentary. Stick to the facts.

 

Do these things and you will still get an automated response, but it will be the relevant one: 'We have investigated and taken appropriate action. Thank you for your help' 

 

You will never get a truly personalized response nor any explanation of exactly what 'appropriate action' was taken. However, if you witness a RL crime and report it to the police, if you are not needed to actually testify (which you probably would not be required to do, if the crime was caught on your store camera) then it would be a similar response from them. Seriously, what are you expecting here?

making contact with aliens.

than

having a meaningful answer from customer support.

Looking at the map and surroundings don't solve your issue, but prevent them from happening.

Tell them that you want to give them more money.

Then wait for them to reply

And then bring up the real problem

To then end up reading another copy paste reply

That is false. Looking at the map and surroundings does not magically remove a griefer from directly in front of you. Moving only helps if they are not persistent but they usually are persistent.

He got my team-mate arty but not me, I saw him on the map and sat still for 5 minutes until he got bored. Of course we lost the match.
