This map either should be increased in size or removed as playing arty is kind of pointless.

Most of the time i play arty in this map i get spotted before i move to safe location and if i survive it i'm killed anyway fast enough before i can do anything helpful.

I voted for enlarging it but not so that arty players can enjoy it ( come on, really? ) ... but because it is too small for high tier tanks.

Don't remove - just limit it to lower tiers.

It's just daft for anything above VI.

The ONLY reason I want this map to remain in rotation for high tiers is due to how this map makes clickers feel.  I LOVE getting this map in my T10 meds when it's 3 arty per side ;)

Just move the arty spawns either side of the tracks instead of right on them.

 

But it's one I enjoy playing arty on when I can get into position to hit people who think they are safe.

One of the few reason to like this map at tier 8+ is that it's completely arty free. :trollface:

IMO the map should stay and just get limited to tier 7 at most.

Remove completely? No.

Make better for arty? No.

 

Either: Make it bigger, but keep all the tight-knit buildings - or just remove it from high tiers only.

I think It'd be better enlarged, the basic design I like, but at this size it's ridiculous with the view-range of higher tiers.

There, fixed the mistake in your post! :great:

 

But to talk about Ensk, it's pointless for a lot of classes, it's actually pointless for anything that isn't a heavy or occasionally a medium. Lights can't use their view range or camp and need to go brawl, TD's have no good firing lanes and arty can't properly hit key locations and thus goes hunting light tanks instead.

Or they can just fix spawn again and move arty to behind town. I see no reason for even HT's to span in cap.

So stop playing arty and enjoy the goddamn map. Complaining about having difficulties while playing arty on one map is just bloody rich, considering the fact that arty breaks the game for everyone else on each and every map. WG should rather remove the stupid broken mechanic rather than removing maps to cater for clickers, don't you think?

Ensk itself is not bad. But it's way to small for high tier battles, and it needs to allow other classes than HTs to play their roles properly. IMHO what they should do is:

 

- Make the map atleast 800x800.

- Allow the right side of the map (field) to support left side (city).

 

The 2 points above would solve the following issues:

 

- The map would not be to small anymore.

- LTs would be able to play a camo/spotting game in a bigger field.

- TDs would be able to support city from field, instead of sitting at the mid road.

Your comment about not playing arty is kind of pointless as arty is a part of this game and playing arty is required for certain missions. Unfortunately we don't have a choice of the map when we pick an arty to play. I believe a map should be designed in the way so all types of tanks can fit into their roles on the battlefield. In Ensk i feel like an arty is an obsolete during the fight especially with tier 10.

Yeah, Widepark is gone but Ensk is still with us. Why?  Would have been better to keep wp for low tiers and remove Ensk!

Even at tiers 4-5 I think it's crepe!

Remove that fking map. Its crap for all types of tanks except heavily armoured tanks.
