Hello forumites.

After a serious drop in my in game efficiency during the Progetto marathon, I decided on playing with a different style.

Instead of continuing the grind on multiple lines, I decided on focusing for a period of 2 to 4 weeks on playing exclusively a few tanks.

Because I platoon a lot with friends, I chose 1 tank for each tier from t6 and up (Pudel, Leo, T44-100, AMX M4 51 and M48A5).

After a couple of days , results are subtly seen already.

Just wanted too share for anyone, it seems to work plus it is helping if you are working on mastering and/or marking your vehicles.

Cheers

Works for me too....sadly I don't always do it because of grinding. But, if I say, for example, I will only play light tanks today, and meds tomorrow, that seems to make my gameplay better...

depends on my mood. I only ever have 2 tanks I'm grinding and I often just play one at a time for a 2hr grind period. However i also just enjoy cycling through my garage playing all meds, then lights etc etc. I mainly play solo (95%) and therefore no one else minds

It's why my stats are so bad, I get bored and want changes of pace so often but it is true that if I focus on a play style of a certain type or tank my results are less subject to the whims of chance..

Leaking? You mean licking?

Stock grinds are certainly detrimental to the precious numbers, but otherwise, playing two tanks vs playing twenty tanks in one day doesn't seem to make any noteworthy difference to me. There are subtle things to get used to in every tank, but they don't really influence the end result that much.

It definately helps playing the same tank for sure, but i dont like "having" to play a specific tank.

I pick whatever i feel like for my doubles and maybe play more games for crew xp. I started playing again during the marathon(for tank & new graphics) and my performance is even worse.I play hipster tanks without sixth sense/stock(ish) and dont even relocate from lost flanks.Probably getting bored again.

Those highlighted statements are your problems. Marathons turn public matches into an absolute nightmare and platooning with friends seems to have a similar effect.

And yes, as the owner of multiple tanks of different tiers and types, none of which plays like any of the others: pick one, maybe two tanks and stick with them. Jumping between classes, tech trees or tiers is tantamount to self-destruction.
