Last time I wanted to search for a new clan, but to my bad surprise all of them were almost offline, which is worse as far as I know. Tried to send a membership to one clan and to this day I never got the message.

Most clans, who once ruled WoT, are now part of graveyard of offline clans. :(

Did you get same or similar problem like me too? If so, we need to talk more about the "graveyard of players" and how do we fix it!

Edit: Changed the title and some words to fit the topic

WG could fix it by fixing the game and making people want to come back instead of leave...

WG: Proceeds to make players "happy" by making more premiums.

I bet spreading ads more and making game more enjoyable will revive dead players back

Yet most ads are only minigames smh :sceptic:

The big problem is not only offline clans and players, but the players being DISAPPOINTED

Post enough rubbish on the forums and the Dingers will invite you to don a gimp suit and visit Rusty's dungeon.

Oh noes.

Clans in games come and go.  I set one up in another game a few years ago and for two years we ruled the roost, then got bored and moved on to other things.

Something I noticed in the course of that rampage was that as we came out of nowhere we were generally despised (at first) but when we eviscerated "good" clan after "good" clan as often as not they imploded and stopped playing the game.  Being flattened by a "bad" clan sapped their will to live.  So I think there is a strong psychological element at the top end.

By contrast the Dingers should survive indefinitely as they make no pretence at being any good and are simply a collection of oddballs who find the game amusing.

So the factor is being disappointed because the team didn't aim for victory or something so

Agree, with that, gave this game a break quite a while back and haven't bothered with it for a long time - popped on following the revamped graphics - yup looks good but still carp.

The last 140 games - 107 bottom tier, 20 middle and 13 top amongst many other reasons to not bother again until they fix it.

I agree too. WG needs to focus on making players actually happy and satisfied instead of them getting disappointed

In life we move on.  I still see a few friends from school and university, but have lost touch with most, and acquired new ones over the past few decades.  It's the same with games, except the process is accelerated.

It would be odd indeed if all competitive WoT clans from 6 years ago were still not only active but comprised the same members.

Either way the mystery of offline players is still ongoing...

Hardly a mystery.  The game is organic, people come and people go.  It is a remarkable achievement for WoT to have lasted 6 years and maintained a large player base.  Over 6 years, most online games are dead and buried.

I'm 100% sure that the playerbase will decline if the demands are not satisfied. WoT forums in this case is filled with demands for, example, Provence map must be removed or premium shells should be more costier

You know you said clans who once ruled the wot.. Which I think means older clans. And people got older too and probably don´t have so much time to actually maintain the clan or play it as they used to.

And simply with current situation there are not enough people who would overtake the top clan gameplay. Maybe the game is not as exciting as before or it is just more comfortable to play it for fun. Not taking it so seriously as on top level.

What you really get from being the top clan? Is it enough?

No, but I meant popular clans who can be found in the search list

Having read the forum for many years, I can assure you that the vast majority of opinions posted here are idiotic or misguided and that if WG were to have implemented them the game would have gone bust long ago.
