Basically I have just experience what I believe is called spawn camping.

 

It happened on the C line. The defenders were able to push to the rocks near where the repair zone nearest to the C spawn point is. So anyone who spawns there gets greeted by several defending tanks. They have zero chance to repair, and have a very small opportunity of running away from the spawn area and from there to the B line of attack.

 

What seemed to have happened was those who died first on the C line joined the A and B lines until they were full, that left only spawn at C or not at all for those who died on C. I assume those that die in A and B get to have first dibs to return to the front they died in.

 

But back to those forced to enter C, it kind of needs fixing so the spawn isn't camped by defenders.

meanwhile i get to the objectives while attacking and it literally does not let me fire when the turrets are highlighted.

 

How are we meant to win if we cant destroy them? :thinking:

I'm mostly extremely happy about the potato performance. I don't mind if it's lower than standard battles, it's a bigger map with more tanks. But it would be nice if it would be stable. Not 30fps jumping to 70 and back all the time. It makes me feel like my hands are shaking when trying to aim...

Played twice as attacker. Both games the defenders won easily by spawn camping zone C.

 

Just played as defender. Actually a close win for us, but fps dropped to 18 in town fighting and hovered at 26 - 36 most of the rest of the time. Missed several shots because of it and noticed some lag occasionally. Not good.

Another possible flaw:

Retreating after a sector has fallen - not gonna happen!

Just imagine retreating with a Löwe from near the capcircles -> LOL

If you run, you'll get cut down because of no availble cover.

Better stay in cover, and slowing the attackers or take out the very nosy ones.

If you get spawn camped, then imo its your own fault for not using your bloody eyeballs to see the situation on the map.

it's not that I wouldn't have penetrated them, the game didn't let me fire in the first place.

Mods?

 

Could also be the case they're not "available" yet? I must read the regulations to be sure, but maybe you can proceed to that phase only after X bases are capped, to prevent attacking team from flooding a single line and basically trampling their way to the final objectives.

 

 

Edit: checked regulations and

Block Quote

 If at least one zone of the second line is captured, the third line becomes available and the attackers can attempt to destroy the main objectives (pillboxes).

 

So my guess is that mods may be messing with it.

Next flaw today was after I decided to help cap base A. First in there, and zero credit in the final scores for doing that cap.
