Not worth it, get the T-34-85M:

- 1 more crew member, better for training

- better armor

- better DPM

- more ammo

- bigger gun elevation

- possible better mobility

Rudy was one of my first Prem tanks but the T-34 85M is better yeah.

Only other issue with Rudy is that you only have 4 BiA crew. Then again that's the same with the IS2. No good if you want to put them in other vehicles unless you use female crew or something to add to the numbers.

It's a crew member not required for high tier Russian mediums and having more crew in a premium is worse for training since ACT has to rotate round more crew, and if you use the crew from a high tier med then it's even worse since the radio operator will always be getting ACT in the premium.

T-34-85M is definitely better, but the crew alone is worth a lot and the layout is even better for the higher tiers. Some people might say that the ISU-122S was a better deal if you wanted the crew since it comes with 5 crew members, but the price was also exponentially higher.

Yep, after massive buff T-34-85M now is better than Rudy and standard T-34-85.

A Rudy, plus a female crew and waiting for retraining discounts is the best way to save as much money as possible I think if you want a decent 5 crew.

Everyone says T-34-85M is better than Rudy but I actually do better in the Rudy, I think. I think with T-34-85M I make some wrong assumptions about my armour bouncing shells and thus play less careful. Plus Rudy does have the extra mobility.

Best deal in the game.

It has a dog ... that barks ... and comes with a free premium tank with a free Berlin Crew ... how cool is that !! :teethhappy:

It is the BIA crew that matters, who cares about the tank now that t-35-85m is superior.

To hell with that... Where is the IS-2 Berlin? Everyove has the 85M, which outperforms this...

I bought rudy for crew training but the buffs to T3485M and the "marathon"-"giveaway" made it almost obselete. If i knew it would happen i would never bought it.

M has the armor,Rudy should have the DPM....But it is too late now,"we never nerf prem tanks".

Is that extra mobility noticeable? I remember when I switched from the standard T-34-85 to the M i was quite disappointed by how sluggish it was. Stats say that Rudy has inferior mobility to standard 85. Do you feel Rudy is closer to standard 85 or to the M model in terms of mobility?

Cool, was waiting for this. Who really cares about another t6 med that i never to rarely going to play. Just going to get another set of crew, which i felt required as we kept getting russian tier10s and more to come.
