Slot 7: Recon, cooldown 210

Slot 8: Arti, cooldown 310

Slot 9: Airstrike, cooldown 360

I chose this setup becasue as an LT guy I like the idea of spot and hit.

So I wait until Racon and one of the other is ready.

I press Recon and both of the others are receiving an aditional cooldown counter.

What is the reason for the aditional cooldown counter that is added?

Would be a little too much if you would be able to call all that at once...

Wait what.... you can slot multiple combat reserves per tank?? Why does my screen only give me slot 7!?

Because you never bothered to take a light tank for a ride? :P

Oh that might be it, thanks. That's actually pretty cool, a bit of flexibility to compensate for mediums outperforming them in sheer damage.

Exactly. That's how light tanks should be in general.

Now I just need a proper tVIII light tank. The only one I got right now is the replaced German one with the horrible shellspeed.

Gods yeah, I have that one too, did that nerf it or something? I don't recall the shellspeed being that bad last time I played WoT. I recall kinda liking the.. HWK12 I think the tanktype is, and it's okay at short range but trying to hit something at long range feels like pelting snowballs at The Flash.

I can't be the only one who thinks these reserves should be available in random battles aswell... Right?

Hope this never happens. I can imagine the combo of 3 arty + n arty strike + m air strike... :D

*Thinks about it*

We'd finally have a proper reason to remove arty from the game!

Assuming Frontlines returns as a Tier 8 format again I'd suggest you grind up the chinese line.

I have the chinese, french and german tier 8 lights, and out of those the chinese is the best by far.

As you said, the germans low shell speed makes it near useless in all those long range engagements and the french one struggles to pen the side of objectives with AP, also the clip damage is not high enough to clip a lot of tanks you meet, so you almost always need support. The chinese is pretty good at sniping, has decent alpha and plays almost like a medium with 3 slots for those fancy reserves, so I'd definitely recommend that one. I might even keep mine (grind finished yesterday) just in case frontline returns, I can always take the creew from the tier 9/10 and move them back to the 8 for a month. 1600 gold seems reasonable for that, considering how much fun I have driving that thing.
