Right now I finished my game with 500 dmg, friendly T-44 shoot at my rear when i start to engage enemies and hit my fuel tanks... I lost 1200 hp out of 1500hp and of course, died. He was very bad player and was camping on base. I think wg should remove FF as soon as possible. Many new players just play the game to disrupt our good players..

The way it works in front line is the way it should work in randoms, if you do accidentally hit allies then it does no damage.

Just keep in mind, removing FF won't remove trolls, as shown on the console version. Plenty of ways to ruin one's game without shooting him (sadly)

My main concern when FF is removed is arties tbh. Expect alot more artillery fire when you are fighting in close combat when FF is off.

Also, biased poll is biased. A simple yes/no/don't care options would be better.

So you could not get more bias into your question?

I think it is not so much about friendly fire than about the reporting system.

Basically friendly fire is a good thing. (Should) make(s) you think about shooting or not if there is the danger of hitting a friendly. And, yeah, I smell the irony there of my theory that my fellow team mates might think about something...

Since auto-bann was introduced a few years ago, it got a little bit better. But I got the impression that the reporting system is actually non-functional and only serves the purpose of calming everyones emotions by giving them a useless function to report their anger away. I up to now never experienced, that a player got banned or even warned for being reported too much. So, it is not so much about friendly fire but about how WG is treating players that get reported too much.

I got the impression, that WG is putting much more effort into editing every foxtrott-uniform-charly-kilo (will you even edit this out of my post? I am curious...) out of this forum than handling the in-game reports.

BTW, if you are annoyed by FF, you should give frontline mode a try. FF was removed to test the impacts on the game. With the consequence that every arty now merrily is shooting into facehugging tanks, as they will not damage, but only stun their fellow teammates...

Of course it is, as the question is already biased.

Yes, remove friendly fire, please. I very often feel like shooting some of the utter pillocks on my team, but I restrain myself because of the consequences... No friendly fire means I can shoot them without any issues for either party, and my frustrations will be (at least partially) vented, out of my system.

"No, its fun when your teamate shoot at you"

Your teamates usually shoot at you, when you do idiot things.

If you want players to take your poll seriously, try NOT making the answers so obviously biased.

How can it be biased when you can vote for both options?

Friendly fire is in the game to prevent players to go danger close or to block friendly fields of fire.

It does not work because the shooter bares the brunt of the penalty, so there is little consequence from doing something that get you shot.

Sure, it getting shot may cause you to lose that battle, but the shooter might get banned for other recklessness.

So what does friendly fire really give us.

A way to get a player banned if you troll hard enough.

Something that bans one player for another players recklessness.

A dumb way to vent frustration. Because some people believe that 2 wrongs make a right.

Make it hard to assist players that are capsized

So will removing friendly fire solve trolling?

No, it will just give one less way to troll.

why remove ff?

Maybe it's in my best intentions to kill that noob who just stole my Radley? Or that Obj268V4 who just broke the game for the other team?

Like 2 days ago in paris,a Prototipo Standard B on the enemy teamkilled that broken trash when I was shooting it head on in my 121. (post-my-death, of course) I don't care at all how people may look at it,it's entirely justified.

That particular a-hole from CSA was particularly greedy to pad his stats.

Still quite shocked there are some people who, for some reason, think arties hold fire in the above situation... naive in the extreme.

The most annoying thing about FF is if you're using a HE gun or playing arty you have to sit there and wait for the enemy who's facehugging your teammate to kill him so you can open fire without doing splash FF to your teammate, then you get abuse for not helping lol.

So you are OK with being banned if you encounter too many recklessness teammates that drive in to your line of fire?
