I'm experiencing this also. I only ever hear of players from the UK suffering from this.

Must be Brexit

Mine is usually fine. Never have issues here, just this morning.

They must be noise busting in my area. I'll try again later.

Sounds like the kind of BS excuse we used to give out to users back in the old days.

Anyway, this is what you need.  It's not hard to do.

Not that lag spikes or their cause would show up on that speed test of course.

But I don't need to look at a graph to tell me that I have lag spikes and it won't tell me if it is a server issue and everybody is experiencing it which is why I asked. It's a bit like I can tell if it is raining by looking out of the window, I don't need to see a forecast.

Well don’t then and you won’t know where the problem lies. You choice of course but why bother creating a thread unless you just wanted a moan?

Of course you can, but if you were in london looking out of your window wont tell you if its raining in Paris.

The graph tells you if there is a bottleneck or problem between you and the server but then I guess you know that.

A few years ago I was playing WoT during lunch at work. I was on an EU server, the guy next to me was on the NA server (he was an avid gamer with a network of US mates). I suffered lag and he didnt. He routed from London via West Country and a transatlantic connection, I routed from London via Amsterdam to Germany. His route was clear, mine got bogged down somewhere on the continent.  A quick call to a contact at VM (our ISP) resulted in them resetting the routing table and when I checked, we went via Paris and Berne into Germany and the lag had gone. Handy working for the Network Team in a company, you get to know what causes problems and who at an ISP can sort them quickly.

We won't know unless you try and it will certainly tell you a heck of a lot more than asking if random other people are having lag.

Yes, I had really bad lag last night (2130 BST) such that I stopped playing. I'm in the UK (Bristol) if that makes any difference.

If it happens tonight I'll try using pingplotter and post the result here (I've used it before in times of bad lag but not known how to interpret the graphs etc).

Oh Jabs you're so bloody negative. I ask a simple question and you get all black and grey about it? Lighten up FFS.

Or. If you can't be polite, don't say anything at all. Seriously some of you twunts can't post anything on here without being negative. You ever heard of polite discourse? Can you ever put a positive spin on anything?

It would suffice to tell you absolutely bloomin nothing.

What's your issue with people actually trying to help?  We could have just said no it's you.  Now that would be rude IMO.

I have no issue with people trying to help but being negative toward anybody asking a simple question is not helping.
