Hello!

Im just wondering if I will keep the crew that I have trained with these tanks and most importantly if I will get back the equipment I have mounted on my T-44FL and T-32FL or do I have to dismount them by myself with gold?

AFAIK you will keep the crew after the "event" ends. :honoring:

Do these two tanks act like premium tanks? I have a normal T-44 in my garage, if I put that crew to the FL-version would it be any use and would there be a penalty of some sort?

Try to transfer the commander and see if the main qualification shows less than 100%.

But I guess they should works in that way.

Yes, you'll keep the crew. Equipment is normally removed for free when rental tanks are removed from your garage, the only problem is that it's not known when that will be. We had the Halloween tanks sitting around for ages after the event, for example.

They act as premium tanks as far as the crew is concerned (you can put any Russian medium crew that matches the layout into the FL version) but it seems they don't have the credit multiplier you'd get on a full premium tank.

The game client (when you view the tank details) states they are premium tanks. There should be no penalty, haven't tried it myself though.

... as the other two resident forum ninja stalkers were quick enough to point out for you... :hiding:

I was myself musing about this a few days ago. This is from the Frontline regulation page:

Block Quote

When the event is over, the vehicles will be removed from players' accounts. All property (shells, consumables, and equipment) will be transferred to the Depot. Experience earned on the rental vehicles will be transferred to the T1 and MS-1 tanks. The crew will be transferred to the Barracks.

The stuff on the tank goes to the depot, experience to the tier 1 tank, the crew will be put in your barracks. Interesting question will be what happens when your barrack is full - will you get additional barrack slots?

You usually get temporary slots. I remember a thread a while back from someone who bought 16 slots and his barracks was still full - turned out to be all the event crews he'd earned while playing were in these temporary slots and buying real slots gave them space to move in.

I think I had the exact same problem at one time, having the barracks full and couldn't figure out why.

Going by past events where you get extra crew. Like Rampage or even the 8bit winter mode that had several tanks and crews for it. They give you temp slots. But those slots are removed once you move them into a tank etc again.

A free 100% crew member isn't to be sniffed at I suppose. Even if it is russian

I wouldn't sniff a russian if he were glazed in honey.

1600 battles and WG gave him tier 8 tank to play FL. And then we wonder why the game mode sucks...

I have 3 tier 8 tanks anyways so it doesnt really matter does it? :-) Also Im usually around top4-top8 in my team by the damage dealt in this gamemode, not every player who has low amount of battles is a "bad" player.

But yes I definetly agree with you, there are a lot of players who have no idea how this game works in this gamemode thanks to the free tanks.

What is so special about a 100% crew for a premium tank? To use it in a regular tank one has to retrain it, so it goes to 90% - and then the difference from a fresh 75% one is only a few battles worth... Compared to how much it takes to get the 1st skill the difference is minimal...

You don't get any slots, temp or otherwise.  They just put the crew in the barracks regardless of how many slots you have.

After the event they will be retrained for a regular tank, and if you use them in FL they will have some skills.

They won't be automatically retrained, so there will be an XP loss for retraining to another tank. And I don't use them in FL, I suspect pretty much anyone that had a russian medium or murican heavy crew already skilled up would use those and continue with a good crew instead of training a fresh new crew in a pretty competitive FL mode.

Which means at the end we're left with a bunch of unskilled crew that needs retraining taking place in the garage. Not dishing it, just pointing out it's not something particularly special

Where are you getting that from?

My crews from rampage mode and whatever other rental tanks we had in the past are trained for the regular versions of the same tank.  I've sacked an endless number of 100% IS-7 crews which are of no use to me.
