Bought both the tank + the camo. Why? Because i can! :honoring:

Don't hate me for it. :hiding:

No one hates you mate, it is your right to buy whatever you want, there are just a lot of players who don't like the "Clown Skinned" tanks.

You can remove the funny skin and the tank will look just like the regular KV-2, so in essence you are buying a premium KV-2.

Then why do I have to pay for a skin I do not want to begin with? Where is my option to buy that premium KV-2 at a normal T6 premium tank price?

Wouldn't mind the style as long as I can paint it over in a plain, pale washed colour, however the price... WTF....

The KV-2 is a historical tank...

The only thing non historical about this is the SKIN it comes with, not the tank itself.

This is correct. Also, the skins will be hidden if you select "hide non historical elements" in the settings.

I personally don't mind clown looking tanks and I don't think these look that bad, but making a tank with a broken gun like KV-2 a premium, really?

The BDR seems like a good and sensible premium though.

EDIT: Oh the BDR isn't a premium version, just a skin, lol just when you though they made a sensible choice :teethhappy:

A) Can you remove this ugly skin from the KV-2 premium tank and make it look like a normal one?

B) I'd like a premium KV-2 but don't like the clown skin.

C) Why do I have to pay more just for the Warhammer skin? (which I don't want to begin with).

D) It would not be a problem if we could buy a regular KV-2 premium at a cheaper price, have the *OPTION* to *CHOOSE* clown models/camo's.

A) Yes.

C) You are getting £30 worth of crew.

Seems like reluctantly I'll have to hide non historical elements, which unfortunately means removing some of the decals I have been using since before non historical elements were added (e.g. the five year anniversary decals), and even some of the reward camo is classed as non historical.  And no, I can't drive a nekkid Lowe.

Hey! I personally don't see them as "clown skinned" at all, only as something cool for Warhammer fans, that can also be hidden with the push of a button. I think they look amazing - but it's totally fine if you don't agree and you can hide them anytime, so no issue there. :)

I for one like the fact that they release old tanks with new skins instead of releasing new broken premiums although KV-2 is a questionable choice. I really don't see why people have a problem with the skins since you can turn them off.

Except the BDR is NOT a premium (you are paying only for a skin), and the photos only show the skin on a stock version, so I don't know if the skin works once you upgrade the turret and gun.

Why remove them? If you have non historical disabled you cant see OTHER peoples, I had non historical disabled before and you can see your own decals and colours still.

The words "Clown Skinned" is just a term that is in use in forum (it started/established when the Sabaton tank appeared, I think) for every tank with unique painting (including Fury, Pudel, Sabaton, etc.), the term does not means that they are ugly looking tanks, it means that these skins are just out of the ordinary ...

... personally I like the "Clown Skinned" tanks, they put some "Color" in the game.

The in game description is misleading then.

yeah i thought the same when i first found it out. Unless its a bug and has been removed then it should still show your own non historical inscriptions etc

Yes, but they were super colored, though, compared to these. I thought it was about the color.

All right, I got it now. I thought it was about the color, not like a general term for all "special" tanks.

I really like the look of this tank and to me it's nice to see something different, I can imagine that if this tank had of been brought out looking exactly the same but without the association to war hammer then I think the reception by the community might of been different.

The only problem is for people like myself who can only afford to buy a premium tank once in a blue moon, the £23 price is a lot, if it was £12 like the other tier VI vehicles I would have had it.

Maybe if WG put it on a 50% discount I'll have it but until then I'll just have to watch them in game.
