BWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!

I mean, the KV2, that has merits.  HE firing prem tank has potential to earn very nicely.  But the BDR?  I seriously wonder how many people actually keep it, vs how many people gnash their teeth while playing it vs. t7.  As top or middle tier, it's gun is good, even very good.  But as a prem?  I don't think so.

Why do you think they want to make the BDR into a premium?  they released a 10 euro skin for it, but that's all I can find.

I have to say this - 10 euro skin for a single tech tree tank (not even popular one) is ridiculous.

License nonsense is expensive.

You know what?

This is probably the most ridiculous item ever sold in the premium shop.  EVER!!

$11.05 US for a set of camo, for a tank that while decent at the most (it is ok for a t5 ht, nothing more), has no use whatsoever.

If it was for charity, that would be one thing, and it would have merit.  But OMFG!!!

It's only a skin. That costs more or less as much as a tier 5 premium almost. I suspect they would have sold more.. if it actually was a premium tank G1 B with the skin on. As with any bad tank, it still has a fan base that would be willing to buy it if it was a premium, vs a skin for something they might not care about. And that's why I suspect the KV-2 will still sell. As it's a premium KV-2 after all.

I would consider buying a premium bdr as an extra crew trainer for 50B crew.  That price is what a t5 would be worth.  But not for a skin.

It seems reading news articles properly is a skill which needs to be learned nowadays. :harp:

That's what first thought, that they were going to release two premium tanks with funny skins.. then I noticed that the French one was not a tank but an expensive skin only and I blinked. Then I thought it would give a premium equivalent bonus to a regular tank. Then I checked the offer and saw that it was there to 'Give your already powerful French BDR G1 B an even more menacing look with the Mordian style set from Warhammer 40,000!'... and I blinked again... :amazed:

average 40k skins. They could of modelled the tanks a little more differently to make them look like warhammer 40k tanks a little but whatever.

mind you if they can do this with 40k, valkriya chronicles shouldn't be too much too ask since they pretty much look like real tanks well most of them anyways.

Most of them being the key word here. As the first two tanks SEA got were not, and one was a Tiger II on steroids making even the Defender seem weak. Skin is a different matter.

The Steel Potato is fun, but it's low cost fun.

Paying money for the skin defeats the point of it really...

If it would've been an actual BDR premium tank, I would have bought it in a heartbeat for 10e. It's my go to tank when some of my friends are grinding some new lines down there at tier V.

At least those WoWS skins give you some benefits to go along.

Same goes to Warhammer KV-2. It's a fun little collaboration and skins don't look half bad too but they are way too expensive.

KV-2 premium was a mistake too. It should be just a skin, like BDR.

btw. BDR is secretly OP. It can kill most same tier tanks within ~7.5 seconds...

I saw this thread and took it for a spin -> 6 kills, ace tanker and 2,2k dmg and a win. It's just awesome to slam tanks with 240 every 7 seconds at tier 5.

I think they did a great job by removing that 10,5cm on O-I exp and giving sweet dispersion love for BDR, because I think we got a new top dog at tier V.
