So we have the KV-2®, and i love it, as a Warhammer geek waaaay back in the early 90's, the minute i saw it i had to have it, but i have an issue, what we have is a KV-2 in an Imperial livery....wtf is that, no way would the imperial forces have a tank like the KV-2 in their armoury, this tank is an ORK vehicle, it is pure ORK, it's big, it's hardy, it's roughly built and highly inaccurate but with a big gun that does big damage........can you sort it out, i'm surprised Games Workshop didn't point this out, KV-2 is not suited to the Imperial livery in any sense.........It's ORK!

Blitz tanks were both imperial too. So I suspect It's more on Games Workshop then WG.

Please go to the appropriate forum to discuss GamesWorkshop intellectual property. Not the gameplay section of a tank game loosely based on vehicles immediately prior to and slightly post the Second World War.

Take your quibbles over GamesWorkshop story lines to their forums.

Thank you.

Well Arthur, since the KV-2 ® is a joint project between WG and GW, the vehicle is owned by WG and is concerned with WOT.........the tank isn't GW intellectual property, it's WG intellectual property, probably with a portion of the proceeds of sales going to GW for being involved in the project, and being named in part to the similar looking imperial Ragnarok, regardless it's a KV-2, a WG tank in a WG game, the issue is the same, no way would the KV-2 (as it is called KV-2) be suited to imperial forces, regardless of any similarity to the GW owned Ragnarok........it's pure ORK by it's nature, big, basic, not very accurate but ruggedly built with a big boomstick..........i love it, but it's misplaced..........ORK not IMPERIAL.......WAAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!  and if there was any issue with making an imperial vehicle an ork vehicle, it should be noted that the orks usually salvage what they can from fallen enemies and work their orkish mechanical wizardry on it so that they can use it themselves in future battles..........

Actually Ragnarok tanks are Metal Bawkses used by Imperial guard, designed during civil war on Krieg. Its mostly used by siege regiments and kriegers ofc, or when there are no Leman Russ tanks avaiable. Now when we have this and basically Leman Russ skin for BDR, Id like to have skin for "baneblade" for type 5 heavy :D

I have never even heard about Warhammer 40.000 before this offer from Wargaming. And I'm was thinking that this is the cheapest and dumbest way of earning money. I hope that not too many people will fall for this offer, so WG will give us more than just skins for our money.

The positive thing about it is that if you do not like them, you can chose not to buy them and disable them so you do not see them, and people who like them can get them and continue funding the game so that it will last longer and increase the chance for future content.

Complaining about something like this is like complaining they sell a soda you do not like, at the store where you buy your coca cola. You don't have to buy it, you do not have to taste it, but it makes sure the store is there for you.

It is also like complaining that your favourite Soda is overpriced and how the store is overcharging you for a bottle of coke (e.g Sugar Tax is a load of [REDACTED])

It would be overcharging if it was actually a comodity that you needed, but this is pure eye candy that you do not need, but can get if you want to.

It is not a complaint. I just told my opinion and my hope that they will sell less boring things as well.

Well, you can look at it this way; the more diverse things they sell, the more likely you are to find something that is not boring to you.

Exactly, selling the same tanks with only different skins doesn't make the game more diverse but more simple.

How can something that gives you more options become more simple?

KV-2 R is more than a simple skin replacement, it is a different tank because it gives you more income than the regular KV-2 and crew training. The skin replacement for the G1 is a pure cosmetic one, but it still gives you two options instead of one, so more diverse no matter how you look at it. The fact that you might not like the skin doesn't take away the option to get it.

Both are the same tanks which are already in game. Playing with and against these tanks is totally the same as in the case of simple ones from the tech tree.

In terms of game mechanics, yes, in terms of crew training and income, no.

At any rate, the diversity in the tech trees is already substantial compared to these few tanks with skin differences. Why do you have an issue with people bying things you do not see the point of yourself? Is it because you can't freeload diversity from the spending of other players?
