As the nerfs to it display how precious this broken piece of garbage actually is to GreedyGaming, I had a fun idea.

Why not make the armor of the tank out of ammoracks?

That way every shot that does pen it (which isn't a lot but it happens occasionally) just blows it right up.

Fun and games for the guys who get roflstomped and it might turn out to be the key to make players not play that abomination anymore.

Spoiler

Penning a Bobject frontally with hesh for 1900 damage is still my favourite shot ever. Was giggling for an hour. Got some very angry comments after, which made it even better.

Oof, luckily tier 10 TD's have between 1800 and 1900 HP so that must've killed him!

Oh, it has the highest HP pool of any "mobile" tier 10 TD and can still steamroll the team on 200 HP. Nevermind.

The nerfs on supertest are a mockery imho.

I mean, tier X meds will have a decent chance to pen the cupola, if the shot lands perfectly in the middle...

Vehicle is stupidly OP and these tiny changes are going to change practically nothing

On Super Test it's just had a second round with the nerf hammer;

The question is: which is the next OPtank that WG will invest on ?  I guess the line after 430?

It's the mobility armor combo that does it. No one complains about the E3's 330 mm cupola or 200mm more effective super structure... since it's not a speed demon too. Reverse speed to 15 max, forward to 45 max and power to weight down to 15 at least. Then it's already less broken. As now it's the first up the HT line even before most meds.

Rather little bits than nerfing to oblivion and making another useless tank at the top of a line.

Object 277 is a candidate for that; it's premium rounds are 350 pen APCR combined with 490 alpha, 0.35 base accuracy and 2.5 sec aim time :^). It all depends what kind of armor that thing has, though. I don't think it ends up being really better than the 5A, cus worse depression and DPM.

Definitely not the K-91, unless they overbuff it.

Polish tree could be a candidate for that to milk the Polish playerbase, especially considering the super broken tier 8 premium.

This is what annoys me about WG buffs/nerfs

They could do fairly regular tweaks to balance and continually monitor and do trend towards a more balanced state, but they don't.

So any change needs to be a big one. :(

Tank is OP enough 59% average last I checked that it needs a sizeable nerf too.

Definitely needs a sizeable nerf, but I can deal with it being brought down slowely rather than a super-nerf down to the standard 49% avg.

Minor tweaks to absolutely everything on the tank (the current state in the supertest) should be anough to bring it down significantly.

In finality, it will not be enough, but it will help obviously.

The major nerf should come to the mobility and maneuverability. I'm fine with the armour nerfs it makes it vulnerable at the front, without it being completely useless but that thing turns far too quickly for flanking to be a viable tactic.

Realistically,

Top speed forwards: 45

Top speed backwards: 10

HP/t: 14

Hull Traverse: 17.5

Gun traverse: 20

Should be enough on top of the current nerfs.

The changes from 1st iteration to 2nd iteration are hardly noticeable.

Nerf is to small.

Easy nerf:

Special mm for the opject (and type 5)!

One or both of these game modes should be implemented:

1. 1 Opject and 14 arty per side, arty gets 500% xp and credits, so there's some incentive for arty players to play the balancing game mode, opject scrubs get non premium xp and credits.

2. A nice mix of opjects and type 5's. let the trash deal with the trash. Again, both get reduced xp and credits.

And the 2 game modes apply to every jap heavy, and all tanks leading up to the opject.

Contact me via pm if you want to hire my [edited]as game doctor, WG, ill sort out all the problems:)

Changes from second iterration are not small at all.

again, it does not need fixing. it needs to be REMOVED.

bring back 263 at tierX, implement tier9 in game, and nerf su100m1.

They basically looked at the old Grille and went:

"Sure, we'll also give this RASJA!!!!1!1!! TD impenetrable armour (not theoretically but functionally in battle). That will surely create a balanced vehicle."
