Is there going to be a leaderboard somewhere so people know if they are even close to top 3?

There are no missions, it is a simple win as many as you can. Most of players should just simply play.... try harder for the medals and that is it.

It gives us a way to track your progress, now knowing this you can use the bonus code

So basically tryhard for a week, think you're doing good, and don't win anything because someone somewhere was doing some cheese you're not aware of..

Don't see how the lack of transparency is a good idea but maybe that's just me

at least you could add a counter to the mission tab area. I could check the number I collected from there

I hardly can see cheese with high tiers and epic medals. Additionally, suspicious users will be checked.

I would say it is not a lack of transparency as you described it, it is more inability to properly show it. Developing an ingame ladder to see scores for a single event is hardly possible.

I can think of a few off the top of my head but im not gonna share them here  but I'm sure more creative people then me will think of even better ones.

 

I can understand that creating a leaderboard for a 1 week event is not economical but there will be plenty of frustrated people who will think they have been doing good the entire event only to be disappointed that they spent the whole week tryharding when you name the winners.

So getting 0 of these is just auto loss since i rarely get any of those and 99% probably doesnt either, im guessing 3 Unicorns will get to go there.

We already had this idea but had to delay it for next edition, definitely will look to add this into missions tab.

so another reward for the elitists in the game, pity you don't do something for joe average... a lot more of us than elites, ergo you make more profit from joe average.

maybe it would have been better if you just picked 3 winners by random instead.

Just P.S. I'm assuming when creating this event the reason why Epic medals and high tiers were selected was so "the best" players can win it, or people that had some incredible games, if thats the reason imo you should have made this event for non-platoon only. Realistically even if you are very skilled and play a lot in a week you probably get around 20-30 epic medals max, I'm willing to bet the people who win will be around the 100 mark because of farming the easier epic medals in platoon.
