Hi,

Just wondered what the "medal" symbols next to some player names indicates?

I know the grey shield with a number in it shows platoons - but most games there are 1 or 2 players with an additional symbol, most common one being a bronze-ish diamond with a "1" inside it, and varying numbers of grey/silver points.

Was merely intrigued...

cheers

It's all kinds of pseudo achievement nonsense.

Some are for beating the missions that give you reward tanks, some are for some random achievements in a certain gamemode. Yadda yadda yadda.

I wish there was an option to turn them off. They just clutter the UI.

You get them for being sad enough to compete is some non-event that WG dream up from time to time. You display them if you think anybody could be in doubt about your supreme skill, or because it's the only thing you've ever achieved in your life.

Displaying the Stug IV badge is some sort of dead meme players like to display as if anyone would be proud of "achieving" that*.
