Does it matter if you win or lose?

  1. No, i prefer to farm damage. I find it gives me more credits at the end. (13 votes [44.83%])

Poll is quite self explanatory. I've found that in frontlines I tend to farm as much damage as possible to get these massive games where I get loads of credits and I've got to say so far i probably average around 300-400k credits (with boosters ofcourse) at the end. With a total of around 10-14 million credits grinded. If I didn't have a busy schedule with exams and assignments needed to be handed in I quite possibly could have double that amount. 

 

So has anyone noticed a particular difference in credit making if you win or not? I just want the game to last for as long as possible.

Best is to use as few tanks as possible.

That way I managed to increase my income from -27k to -7k.

Were they wins or losses, No idea.

Depends. As it's more on how long the game is vs if you win or not at times. As I would rather lose as the defender, vs defending all 3 first caps. As then you make more or less nothing, vs If they extend the game further and push to the guns. You still get a few 100K if you win or lose.

 

But at the end if you defend or take out the guns? Tbh there are so many factors on calculating credits, that I've gotten more on a loss with less damage, then on a win with more damage. As how you do that damage matters equally much. And with 25 min long games with up to 4 different tanks played all equally differently. It's not easy to notice always.

Always, when you're sure that you've done enough in a front and can back off a bit, enter the Repair circle. The point is to die as little as you can. I did around 7k damage with only 2 tanks and my outcome was around 20k credits. Yeah, I'd expect a lot more but truck it, the game mode is fun as hell.

I have no credit boosters left but manage about 150k with prem tanks, a lot less whilst grinding stock T8's though which is what I'm using it for .

 

I have stock T8's pilling up as I no longer play them in randoms so 8 now. My advice is to use a grind tank and then when dead a prem to cover the gold spam with a stock gun, so far it's worked well for me.


 

No free xp needed and no negative costs associated with gold spam, WG ill be choking on this as I think they didn't think it through properly, people are grinding millions in silver.

I play for damage, come win or lose i dont care as it dont affect stats or anything so why should it matter?

That's why FL is becoming increasingly unplayable for the ones who like winning...

 

Nothing more annoying than capping and the whole team farming damage.

480k+ profit for 15 minutes and 16.5k dmg  in a defence game LOSS last night . If i can't win at least i have credits to buy shiny things . I still like the mode and i have 100s of boosters to use up

Because winning is pretty much the whole point of the game and the reason why we constantly complain about bad players.

That said, that gamemode brought quite the elitist and hypocritical attitudes to the surface...

tbh i don't find a problem with that attitude, if you play to win only why bother progressing up the tech tree at all? and as he said, as long as i don't ruin anyones stats i really don't care if we lose or win. I want the credits so I can buy shiny tier X's for the CW season coming up in a few days.

I find the map is too big & chaotic to worry about winning / losing.  Just do as much damage as I can.

You confuse "play to win" with "play for stats" and statspadding. Two completely different shoes.

I find frontline more and more boring. Kind of a PVE mode.

My last four victories 235k, 238k, 199k, 105k credits (with 50% booster) and I'm still a nob or a noob even.

"Play for stats" is completely different from "Play for profit".
