Hi guys,

 

I'm just interested to know If players actually have ideas for new maps, and If so how would they look, what would the size be and how many players could play on the map. Ofcourse you can decide yourself in how much detail you'd like to go :)

1. WG should take a good look at Redshire (agreed by many to be the one of the best - if not the best map in the game) and start from there. That is a proper way to make a good, balanced map design.

2. Since generally maps have unused space on their edges (some even 20% of the total surface) make maps 1,2 km x 1,2 km to begin with. Then they will be 1x1 km. I would rather see tanks getting lost and arriving late than spot the entire map by driving 100 m from the spawn.

3. Make maps optimized for Random battles mode (Mines maybe work for WGL format, TBs or such, but for Randoms its unbalanced trash, t6 and above are particularly stupid)

4. Dont make maps with dips in middle that do not have a hill or a proper cover - those are pure kill-zones (Highway, old Erlenberg... ah, you got it, but WG needed a couple of years to figure that out...). Darn it, we got Province back - its "new" and shiny and a half-way refreshment, but I bet you "love at first sight" will fade away quick enough.

A map that is only the beach on Overlord, and you get sent there for 100 games if you go beach on regular Overlord.

Did Widepark, Pilsen & Stalingrad get removed?

Sorry, I meant Widepark, not Westfield. I liked Widepark on lower tiers. Westfield I hate, along with those other two. Paris is craptoo.

I liked Sacred Valley too, and Province :)
