I think the title explains it all, how do I play a tank that can't penetrate a KV-2's turret (Luchs 30mm can!), which has absolutely no armor, and its top speed is a lie because uhh... power to weight less than 14... really? I heard this thing is very amazing when fully upgraded but I just can't see it when I am not being able to snipe (shell velocity) and to penetrate even light tanks...

Thanks for any advice. It will definitely help me.

Try in the gameplay forum, you probably will get more answers.

I haven't tried the tank myself

Same as any stock tank. Fire premium ammo against targets which require you to do so until you have the top gun. Don't see what luchs 3 cm has to do with the problem.

It is a pain 88 pen at tier 5 personally I just took a lot of HEAT ammo.

Downside is of course that instead of 50 per shot its 2400.

I did that till I unlocked the better gun.

Luchs' 30mm AA gun (this same MK103 was intended to go on the Kugelblitz SPAA for those who don't know) can pen more than a far larger gun. Fun, right?

But, I fire premium ammo now and with the second turret I can fight hulldown all day long despite the weak armor on the turret itself. My big problem is that I get more damage but lose credits, and I am low on them (1 million 90k)

Well, the stock gun was a bit of a pain indeed, but so are a lot of stock guns in this game. 88 mm is still usable; for the rest, there is HEAT. The top gun is wonderful and the tank really good when fully upgraded. Ten games with the stock gun will not cause permanent damage to you :)

So nerfing pen on the 3cm would make your stock experience on this tank better? Ok then. I suggest a bottle of lube if you make issues of suchs things in wot.

As Lycopersion said: even though you might lose silver for now. It will only be for a short period and you will make up for it with the top gun.
