So long story short.

I drive my obj. 430U up on hill, take a position to shoot in sniping mode and then boom. FV4005 drives into me, start pushing me so it can take a shot. I back up to face that awesome team player so it can see that it was pushing me. A second later i get a shot into my face. I get pissed so start pushing him out and then i get killed by his awesome team mate driving FV215b 183 having awesome WN8 of 266 which i applaud and admire.

Such situations happen to me from time to time when my own team mate decides the spot he wants needs to be taken at all cost. Being pushed down the hill from the back by a team mate sounds familiar?

Just interested what you guys think, poll attached.

Edit.1

Looking at replies to this thread it is sad that some of players either didn't even bother to watch a replay before giving false assumptions about what happened or are unable to break down simple situation on the battlefield with understanding of a cause and effect process. It is really wearing me down to explain step by step what happened to each new post.

Only humans can tell if it was intentional or not.

The same humans will tell you there's an automated super duper awesome system in place that never ever fails so you shouldn't bother yourself with any of it.

Enjoy getting shot in the face, use report system for placebo feel good effect.

OK by me if people get banned forever for being repeat TK offenders.

If you are an unrepentant troll you should be banned for life I think. If you simply will not learn or change your ways than FFS go and troll somebody else.

My only issue is that the system is largely automated but I think it can tell a persistent offender from somebody just counter trolling or accidentally team killing somebody.

Sort of. There are supposedly parameters to determine what kind of a player someone is. I seldom turn blue, and tend not to stay that way more than a match or two. That's despite three semi-recent physics-related accidents, one of which earned me a one-hour break (my tank landed onto someone trying to flip me; fun stuff).

A persistent offender might find himself 'permanently' blue, where you can get a ban for practically anything. It prevents a lot of trolling when the fourth or fifth strike gets you a six-month vacation.

(For what it's worth, my 'blue' episodes are physics-related accidents. I had three before Christmas, and the system see

It should be an incremented ban like it already is. First offense then 24 hour ban. Second offence within a set period then a weeks ban. 3rd offence then a months ban. Until finally you get your account disabled, then they just download the game again with a new account and continue to re-offend.

Hm. I seem to remember supporting your point of view before, but on this occasion I can't. Were I you I would certainly not risk sending your replay in to Support; IMO you were most at fault, by a very long chalk. Disgraceful.

I voted that repeat offenders should be banned for ever. But on the other hand you really do need to grow a pair and stop acting like an entitled snowflake. There are many players who often encounter such a situation, they just get their head down after they've realised the tk scumbag isnt targeting them personally, but just random people in the game who don't do as they expect in a brief instant.

Use the report system and one day it may work, but highlighting you own troubles is just whining to people like myself who don't give a damn.

Nope, they shouldn´t be sanctioned in any way. While their response to your hissy fit wasn´t the most polite, it wasn´t unreasonable.

You drove past the FV, which was preparing to shoot and parked directly in front of it, blocking it from shooting, so he nudged you.

You then escalated the situation by face hugging the Edited  barn, so Edited  barn shot you. You only got deleted by his death star toon mate after you continued with your face hug tantrum for a good while.

I voted "yes" and "other time frame". Well somethimes someone get drunk, or do something in affect that he regret later, so I don't think that punishment should be that extreme, but if he doing that often, then he should be banned for a long time.

Somethimes you have idiots that knows that they will be banned if they shoot you so they ram you, push, block...and then you must fight back and shoot them. I have that situations a lot, especially when I'm playing arty, some moron push me against map line and block me so I can't move at all, then of course, I shoot him and myself and get blue. I was banned only once.

I just have a couple of questions.

First off, what's with the 20 second AFK at the start of the battle?
Secondly, why'd you pick that camo? Your tank looks like it has the measles.

Thirdly, how much did you have to drink before driving up that hill? You are swerving half the time and not driving full speed, clear signs of a person who is being overly careful 'cause they're intoxicated.

Lastly, you should send that replay to support, it shows clear evidence of a player abusing the physics system in an unacceptable manner. Such lack of control and childish reaction to perfectly reasonable behaviour (given the situation) should absolutely not go unpunished.

I love when people not even try to comment on the subject of a thread.

I guess you are the lucky one that is never disturbed while playing a game.

Wrong.

I saw him he was backing up after a shot and i knew he will be coming back to his position to take another shot so i parked further north. Unfortunately he was not able to shoot from the previous position as enemy was retreating down under the hill so in order for him to take another shot he had move more north where i was parked in my tank.

And i find your excuse of his platoon team mate killing me laughable. So he was right to kill me because i got pissed when i got shot for doing nothing. I guess my logic is that they guy who killed me should shoot the FV4005 first as he was the one doing team damage first but happened opposite as they were in the same platoon. I started pushing him out after i got a shot.

Wish some people watch with understanding what they see.

So far we have 2 people answering NO to the question if a player should get banned for doing team damage on purpose.

I guess some of us like team killers or maybe those 2 people are team killers
