I have the soviet tier X unlocked from years ago but apparently it's not great, I'm working down the French and American line now and at tier 8 but I hear the tier 9 and 10 French ones are bad. How are the Britbong and German ones?

I've got the Conq Gun Carriage... it's okay, you get some good whining personal messages after the game, but I prefer the leFH for real salty tears

I have a LefH hence why I favoured the French arty at the moment, but I'd like a tier X for the personal missions really.

No idea but it is probably Soviet.

CGC, really, the most complete for either dmg or stun.

GW E100 is most balanced one

French - +speed, +autoloader...Usa - +power and dmg. For others I don't know. I tried Ussr and germans on TS but I don't like it. For power Usa, for mobility French.

T92 all the way, man. Still the king of arty.

Personally, I couldn't get the T92 to work.  Ended up selling it, and going back to the M55.  Far superior, in every way.  I stopped the German line with the Tiger P, due to the tiny gun arc.  I'd suggest getting to the M55 for the PM's.

Depends what you want to do

American - big damage and splash

Soviet - Fast firing but less damage - easier to help the team with stun

French - Trolls because of auto loader - sometime less than 100dmg against Maus/Type

British - Good arc - Hits people in cover if you keep them at the edge of your firing range - not quite as big damage as USA but close

German - Pointless, constantly have to re-aim because you'll need to traverse a lot

For missions at tier 10 use the soviet, but tbh the missions are better done with the tier 8 USA arty using the stock gun

Arty efficiency is highly dependant of your position on the map and the reading of the game.

I only have the obj 261 but its mobility is very nice. It helps to reposition with your team and have a good trajectory.

With it I have a 51 % survival rate in random, just to say.

And repairs cost 40k ...

Is the gun arc not a huge pain in the bumhole?

Not a huge arti fan here.

I find the French ones my favorite so far.  I have the tier IX.  I like the turret, a lot.  Not having to move (traverse) all the time is wonderful for me.

That gun arc can be a pain but also an asset when shooting moving targets.

I really don't see the point of any tier x arty over m53/55. Except maybe the higher hp pool of all tier x games.

Any way, if I was to get one, I'd probably get CGC. Or realistically T92, since it's conveniently been unlocked for ages and I got my M44 crew ready to go in the barracks.

I'm amazed this post has got so many replies without the obvious answer:

Q. What's the best tier X artillery?

A. A dead one

;)

for missions, you don't need best arty ingame.

exactly for the msssions I chose my canc...arty line of choic to be germans.

at tier7 you have very wide arc and fast firing gun so you can do missions to hit multiple times, even the stun damage as you fire very often and can react to changes in battlefield.

at tier8 you get gun which is at tier9 and tier10, so big own numbers and long stuns

I wouldnot go for long reload arties with long stuns because if you hit one target, it repairs and you are without stun damage, if that target hides and you shoot at different, it can repeat and you get 0 stun dmg

GW E100 is the best if you don't need to move a lot. The french arty is just useless. The 261 is not that great either. T92 and CGC are pretty close, but I'd go with CGC since it can still hit in city maps due to the gun arc.

I only have the German at tier 10, it is a really good machine, ofc it helps I have 4 skills on the crew.

Decent rate of fire, good accuracy (I think it is the strong feature of the line) gun arcs are ok.
